I like this line a lot if it doesnt come a heart river. Because now you are representing a full house exactly. Correct me if I'm wrong but do you push this river with a bare 8? Im certainly not...

I like this hand a lot for a number of reasons:

1) villain's range pre is huge and encompasses a lot of this flop hence i don't lead as I dont want to create a big pot OOP on a very ugly board....

my bad for not noticing all heart flop. Regardless, once he's made the call pre, which, I agree with you is loose, a half pot bet on flop is unlikely to get rid of him. Both played it bad.
