Re: NL25: AA with monotone flop
You're probably against a made flush (AKh) or something like AhQ.He may have the set with JJ/QQ and be worried about the flush and hopes for the board to pair (he is tight). Given that, I'd check and...

Re: flopped set ck raise turn?
Nothing wrong with the call, followed by a check on the turn, planning to CRAI. The previous action on this board would suggest perhaps a lower set or an overpair, so villain would likely bet. If...

Re: Multi Tabling
Poker software is a must for multi-tabling as you can't pay enough attention to any one table. I prefer Pokeroffice as it's user friendly, but many prefer Pokertrakker. Go to pokeroffice.com and you...

Re: Poker Tracker last 1000 hands
As already stated, the sample size is too small to meaningfully comment. But on the figures given, VPIP looks OK, (for a 10 seater), BB/100 is high so it looks as though you've run good over these...

Re: NL25: made trips but what does villain have?
I don't like the steal either, blinds are not worth winning anyway.
His raise is so large, it seems that he wants you to fold. It's not a semi bluff flush draw though, as the board just paired...

Re: NL25 AA facing rr on the flop
The PF raise is perhabs a shade too low, but it did the job, and got heads up. Flat call the flop raise, you can't fold obviously, and see what villain does on the turn.No logic in overcommitting...

Re: Live AA flop decision.
KK or JJ is a possibility, as well as AK. Has he made a weak call with KJs or 33?
$265 will commit hero for all his chips, and therefore should be viewed as an all-in decision. As hero has 2 of the...

Re: How much should I raise here?
If you've been active, then reraise 3-4x. If you've been passive for a while, then there's value in a flat call, as you don't want to blow all your opponents out. The min raise is not good as it...

Re: Flop check
That doesn't change the fact that the SB has made a big bet, and the BB has called. KK is possibly ahead but by no means certain. I'd like to see a safe turn before making any big moves. You have...

Re: Flop check
How are you betting for value with ace high against 2 opponents. I'd still cbett here as it's a flop unlikely to have hit the opponents (I'd prefer one). The danger is that a call was from a mid...

Re: KK standard fold?
PF raise is OK, but the raise after a pot bet from SB and a call is suspect. IMO flat call the flop and use your position. As played, probably fold as SB looks like he has a made hand.

Re: 100nl KK- ok fold?
Fold seems to be the order of the day. Stinks of a set.
Can't see what other hands limp in UTG then call a big PF raise and play this way. Also villain must have QQ+ as part of your likely range, so...

Re: JJ squeeze lp, who calls shove?
Got to be better spots to get your cash in.
Usually you're looking at an overpair here - villain was only in for $6 yet is willing to commit his stack. He has to think you have at least a hand...

Re: To call or not to call
Getting good odds on the call.However...
Preflop action would suggest perhaps high PP or AK.
If you think he bluffs all in with AK in this spot then call, otherwise all you beat is QQ.

Re: Very odd min-bet on flop in a 4-bet pot
I'd flat call the initial flop raise.
As played, call the flop hoping for something exceptional to hit.
To the $1 postflop bet, I'd raise half pot heads up, but the active players behind in this...
