Re: 5/10 NL live who double barrells here?
[ QUOTE ]
That 9 isn't much of a scare card for whatever both villains called you with.
I can't think of a time I two barrel bluffed two villains.
On the river, I'm going to give up most the...

5/10 NL live who double barrells here?
Foxwoods 5/10, 10-handed.
This one is heavily read-dependent, but I am curious what people have to say. Villain 1 is loose and aggressive preflop but is more loose and passive postflop. He can...

Re: 5/10 NL live not sure how to play trips OOP
[ QUOTE ]
This is rarely a bluff. as played the river is a fold. I probably prefer a turn check since you "were a little worried on the flop" and rightly so. I would check/call turn and fold to...

5/10 NL live not sure how to play trips OOP
Foxwoods 5/10, 10-handed.
I have played with villain for just one session in the past. He seems very solid and has a reputation as a very good player. He thinks of me as a good player who is...

Re: NL200 - QQ vs massive c/r on KKx board
I might consider folding here, depending on history and timing. You have to be pretty sure he is bluffing right here to commit all your money. I guess you have to trust your gut about whether he is...

Re: KK very deep. Pay off river? 1/2
If the river bet looks like it wants to get called, fold. If you aren't sure about this, call.
What about bet/fold on the turn? If he is someone who doesn't bluff much, then this may be the way...

10/25 NL live weird spot after 3-betting preflop
Foxwoods 10/25, 10-handed.
Don't have much of a read on villain. He is somewhere between a mediocre player and a decent player. My image is pretty tight and solid, but capable of making a move...

I called and he had 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif9/images/graemlins/spade.gif. Pair plus gutshot on the flop, and picked up a flush draw on the turn. Good read by me, bad execution.

Re: Live Poker Pros
I am a live pro. I don't play online because it doesn't feel like real poker to me and is way less fun. Picking up physical tells and getting to know how someone thinks by observing them in real...

5/10 NL live I want to make a huge call
Foxwoods 5/10, 10-handed.
I haven't played with villain for very long, but he has a big stack and seems to be unafraid to make big moves and be tricky. In one hand I saw him make a very thin...

Re: 5/10 weird blind battle
My guess is that he would think an unknown would err on the side of calling too much on the river. So fold the first time.

Re: Question for B&M pros
I am a pro, but have only been one for about 4 months. After a big loss in no limit yesterday, I realized that stopping after losing a certain number of buy ins isn't the right way to think about...
