Re: Ruling on whether a Call is a Call?
Well, he proabably would have called, or maybe even raised if he was feeling very generous -- but hadn't yet.
He can now fold raise or call, though I can't see ever calling here and btw, no matter...

Re: First Live Sit and Go
Well done!! The only criticism I can make is that you should't push when Villian has AA, it usually doesn't work. (Grin)

Re: how is this a string raise???
MicroB

BTW, I agree...

Re: how is this a string raise???
Do I have this right -- You're BB, unraised pot and it's your option.
You throw in a chip (not enough to make it a complete raise)
I think you've committed yourself to bet at this point. If...

Re: What is the correct ruling?
[ QUOTE ]
Another stupid floor decision costs a player money. Sigh. We should keep a database.

Let's keep two databases, one to track where the floor screws up, and another for...

Re: What is the correct ruling?
[ QUOTE ]
If the guy mucked the other card the dealer should have instantly perma-mucked it in an irretrieveable manner. This would eliminate any need for the floor. If his other card had not been...

Re: Why is \'chip dumping\' HU bad?
Just curious, what changed from the time you enterred the tourney? Surely you didn't pay $200 for the opportunity to receive $180?
That being said -- I don't think it's cheating here, since 1st...

Re: Hands per hour
My estimate was based on 10 person SnGs with 15 minute rounds, where I often see an entire orbit get through before the blinds go up. (shuffler)
However, I haven't really counted at rings.

Re: Chip race question in MTT
Usually round up, sometimes, take a deck, deal cards to each position with the odd chips, then allocate the higher value chips based on the cards dealt.

Re: 2/4 live AKs
It's 2-4 -- Call it down as cheaply as possible. I'm betting she has a 9 here, but there's enough doubt that you can't let it go.

Re: TPTK on paired flop
If MP has been one of the players who has generally been respecting your raises, you're probably in big trouble.

Player raises on the river -- everyone folds. Winner then shows one card (an ace) meaning he had paired the board. Another player said -- you have to show both...

Re: Do you have the balls to fold AA?
Yuck.
If you have any respect at all for 5th and/or 1st fold. If not call. If you have no read on the players -- at this level, I probably assume fish until proven otherwise, so call.
