Re: 2-4NL - When do I take a stand?
The math behind shoving all-in:
Pot size: 96+84 = 180
Left to Shove: 396-46 = 350
Final Pot Size: 396*2 = 792
Equity when called (included 2 combos of A8s that represent tilt calls):

it doesnt matter if villains folding or not. you have 50% equity vs sets and are slightly ahead of 2 pair. the fact is you miss the turn 3/4 times and you're going to get shut out which is...

So much for my shot at 3-6NL. For all you guys counting my money, I will be back to reclaim it once I regroup.

Re: NL400 - Huge draw - veeery deep
I'd say it depends on how often he cbets in reraised pots like this. A lot of TAGs check behind these types of boards a lot because it really hits your OOP calling range hard, i.e. 88-QQ, 78s+, J9s+....

Re: NL400 Deep -- AA Tought Spot or Not?
Easy bet/call AI. When you put in close to 1/5 of effective stacks PF with AA against somebody who is tilted and calling light, you should be willing to get it in on every flop and be happy to do so....

Re: $600NL Really sick spot with a straight.
Depends on nits stack size... does he still have 400 behind too? In general if he shoves 2/3 to full into the protected pot you're splitting at best, so I'd say fold cause there's just so many hands...

As for the hand, I like a call flop, see what happens on the turn. This is some weak one pair hand or draw too often to just fold. These types check the turn often after this move, especially when...

Re: 5/10 turn shove?
Yes, villain's range is wider when calling preflop. But the range in stove are the hands he calls the flop with AND calls the turn with. Sure, he may be calling 89s PF, but he's not peeling that...

Re: 5/10 turn shove?
Yeah, that's math for the value of a shove only. If he checks behind, he has say around 8-10% equity in a 705 pot for something like EV=60-70, but then calculating the EV of all the rivers with the...

Re: 5/10 turn shove?
This play is pretty borderline I'd say, but good for metagame. Running the math:
Pot Size = 705
Left to Shove = 574
Final Pot Size if Villain Calls = 920*2 = 1840
Equity when called:
