Re: Learning stud hi lo

Unfortunetly, it seems like pstars doesn't have those nice little $2 stud 8 sitngo's that full tilt did - the minimum appears to be $5, which isn't much at all, but I feel like it'd be a...

I think you misunderstood me. I was asking OP what has changed on 6th or 7th street that makes it better to raise in those spots.

Another multiway stud/8 hand
All the Villains in the hand are very loose, playing over half their hands dealt. Seat 7 is especially bad and goes berserk if he has a big pair on 3rd.
I don't know if I have a raise on 5th,...

stud/8 hand, what a mess
Seat 6 is new to me but I quickly determined he's terrible. He's playing over 80% of his hands and goes absolutely crazy with a big pair early.
The others in the hand have relatively normal...

Re: (stud8) how best to handle 4th st?
[ QUOTE ]
I think that if you check, the 2,5 is usually going to bet, not the King. Even if it worked out and it checked to the King that bet, the low-draws are not likely to fold.
You're behind...

Re: (stud8) how best to handle 4th st?
I told Rusty to post this hand because we disagreed on 4th Street. I advocated betting out on 4th but he thought a C/R was better because it would be more likely to clear the field.
The problem...

I don't think so, not at this limit. Besides, it's 4th and you know how fast a low hand can turn into over 8...

I'd prefer that the low draws fold.
[/ QUOTE ]
How about having a more realistic goal? No one is folding a low draw on fourth.
P.S. Fold third.

Aces can be frustrating because of hands like this (obv). Holding a big kicker and seeing another Ace jamming away early on in a multi-way pot makes me ensure I don't get married to my hand. You...
