PokerStars -> Stox Video Question re: FPP, etc.
There's an affiliate offering a free year of Stox training videos for signing up with PokerStars. This is about a $250 value. I realize I'm the only person without a Stars account in the civilized...

Re: donkey players
Assuming this is a tourney, I think 16 BB is still too deep for open shoving 44. If you had played this for value villain probably folds to a c-bet when flop missed.

Re: 1k Prop bet help...
I think the critic is mistaking 200 - 400 NL on Stars for $200-400, not the conventional $2-4 x 100BB...
Yes, $2-4 is mid stakes IMHO.

Re: 1k Prop bet help...
Keep the list updated, this should be fun. Here's a thread from Jan. '07 where Nate turns $5 into $1,000 in 7 days. A lot different than your situation but a great read nonetheless.

Re: Age Old question about early tourney strategy
Game selection has become vital to me in building a roll. These types of tourneys are crapshoots. If the $60 doesn't mean much and you have a good time, then great. But like Mick said, they're not...

Re: TT vs 2 All-Ins PF
Just to be clear, I would probably fold this at a higher buy-in. Early in the $5's people are shoving big aces and broadway with abandon.

Re: TT vs 2 All-Ins PF
Don't see your stack size, but I'm assuming it's ~1,500. You're surely good here more than a third of the time (pot is offering over 2 to 1) so it's hugely plus ev. Stick it in. Even if all 3 of you...

Re: Weird feeling about my play, whatzit mean?
I think I know what you mean. I simply call it grinding. You should be able to win steadily by playing a lot of "small ball". It took me thousands of hands to realize that this is how you need to...

Re: Comfortable Short Stacked?
Short stacks can make decisions easier, especially with top pair hands. Since it's easier to commit with a short stack, you're harder to bluff, etc. There is a vocal group of short stack haters here...
