Re: 68s monster pot
Just call preflop. 68s is a highly speculative hand and you want to play it as cheaply as possible every time.
I'm not sold on the call on the flop. We're getting great pot odds, but we have maybe...

Heck no! We've underrepresented our hand. He's putting us on AJ or something like...

Re: Donk Betting TP weak kicker from the blinds
I assume we're talking about unraised pots here. I don't mind the donk on the 25Q flop with Q7. If the button is an aggressive player that will bet when checked to I may c/r the flop instead. While...

This is a standard call preflop, call the flop, and then raise any turn. Frond folds everything but the nuts to a raise on the big streets. This works really well if...

Re: TT live hand
NH Tom. The turn bet is goot, and the river check is goot too. If anyone bets the flop or river I'm folding this no problem.

Re: 2/4 Foxwoods.. what to do in a rock garden?
[ QUOTE ]
In a lot of these games, even the rocks will recognize an aggressive blind stealer and tend to call down with any pair, sometimes seeing the river with A-high headsup.

Re: 2/4 Foxwoods.. what to do in a rock garden?
You need to get much more aggressive at these tables. On your QJ with the 9T on the flop you need to bet every time. I hope you raised QJs preflop too. I would raise more hands preflop and bet more...

Re: B&M 3/6 flopped set, turn FH, too much action?
I think you gave the right amount of action on all streets. As villain plays all of his hands, he could also have a worse full house such as 74 or 54, along with the possible flopped straight hands....

Based on UTGs play, he was checking this flop every time with AK or AQ, and c-betting AJ, AA, KK, QQ, and JJ (of course). If it had been a rainbow flop I may have checked. As it was, I wanted money...

Trips on the flop
UTG is a younger semi-solid tag player. Villain is a middle-aged asian nut job and gets crazy with borderline hands.
On to the hand. Hero is in the BB with Q9o. UTG raises, 6 players including...

Re: boat loses to quads, oh noes!
I would have 5 bet the river. It is far more likely that he has a hand we beat than the only hand we don't. Villain would play KJ this way as well as pocket 4s and pocket 6s. A flush is possible but...

Re: I turn a set and check-call
If he's as passive as you say and you've never seen him cap the flop before, then you can fold to his flop cap. I wouldn't love it, but against this type of player you'll save money in the long run.

Villain is definitely capable of folding on the river unimproved. I've also seen villain flop a monster (straight, set) and wait until the river to raise (pretty standard at Commerce). FWIW - Villain...
