Re: $100 raised small suited connectors - hit flush + trouble

Thanks guys - reason for the post is that twice now I have been stacked by people limping with suited aces after my initial raise. Maybe I should make this play from LP only.

Would anyone have...

Re: handling sneaky players

I think that the majority will agree that as you ahead of the range that opponents will attempt this with so often with KK you just have to suck up the times you run into AA - and make a note on that...

Re: Sunday Million Hand Against Loose/Bad Table

Easy fold. The only part I really don't like is calling the flop bet/raise. I either get away from the hand there or put in a significant raise to establish where we are - a min raise even at bad...

Re: 11$ Stars; Call a Push with Middle Pair after i raised preflop?

He is chip leader? Personally I think you are looking at AJ or an underpair smaller than TT - 66 (now a set) to 99.

Re: 6.50 AKo First Hand

I've started shoving AK almost every time in this spot. The only hands we are in really bad shape against are AA/KK and they are unlikely given our holding. Sometimes you won't hit and bust out, the...

Re: 4/180 64s Blind Battle

I assume that you are not trying to take the pot because he was prepared to check a monster through to the river - why then do you think that a pair of fours is good? Especially with no real read....

Re: is this what i get for slowplaying TPTK?

Well, better to c/c depending on the size of his bet. I would guess that most of the time you are behind. When people call that bet on the turn I would stop value betting and try and check the hand...

Re: big hole cards--few players

Just loosen up - if they fold to your raises raise much more often.

Re: Interesting Spot with KK

Betting the pot is consistent with hitting top pair for the majority of players - it's possible he has a set and is afraid of the flush draw but then, it's too easy to second guess. Putting him all...

Re: How many wins per 100 $4/180\'s?

Wow how deceptive - I thought I was borderline with these but checking PT I am ITM 20% after 71 with 1 first, 1 second, 3 third, 3 4th and 1 6th. Meaningless as stated but FYI.

Re: $25 NL - Flop Small 2 Pair

The question obviously comes - what were you hoping for with 64c - a straight flush? You hit top two pair, sure there maybe a few draws out there but now isn't the time to back off. The greater the...

Re: M down to 5, did I push too soon?

Although the hand itself is not bad for shoving at your level, it's more the position - you will be almost guaranteed to get called by someone who you are no more than a coinflip against. People...

Re: What do you complete with?

Depends how tight I'm playing - if facing raise + call I would not complete with broadway as it's too likely I'm dominated. It really depends on the action beforehand, although suited connectors and...

Re: 4/180 JJ in SB with 2 all-ins PF

I would imagine first all in has medium pp, second has Ak/AQ and is trying to isolate your dead money. But hey early on no need to gamble with jacks - wait for a better spot than 2 all ins.

Re: Whats my line on river?

Tricky one as he had 9T? Far more often than not you will take this down with villain just having a T or a lower flush - sometimes you will run into a boat. I would have been suspicious of the min...

Re: FT: Making a move OTB against LP raiser with short-stacked BB

I can't follow this hand properly - please use a proper converter.

I would note that it is unlikely that the BB is folding here.

Re: Ace high C-bet against big stacks?

Yeah I guess the cebt was on the small side, mainly to do with being worried about his pf call and the big stack - does the stack size of your opponent make a difference to the cbet size you would...
