Re: Rate my play
Hand 1 - You have to bet the turn or raise the river - holding chips out screams weak king. If they have KJ, the cant reraise so you are fine.
Hand 2 - I think you have to call the turn and fold...

Re: 10/20 2p w/150BB River spot
This is a very tough spot.....I think you played the hand good until maybe the river. Not sure I would bet the river. Only hand you beat is A6-AJ and you can't take a raise. That being said, I...

I think you are forced to call. There is no way he could put you on a 3, therefore, that alone expands his bluffing range on the river.

Re: Thoughts and Results
Rock - Im sure you know your players well but I still find it hard to believe that Nick would give a free card on the flop with such a scary board. For both players to call pf raise and with a...

Re: Hand 2: NYC Live 200/400 vs TheTakeover
Fold the river. The hand that makes the most sense is k10s or a10s. With aggressive players and deep stacks behind him, checking 2x to control pot would make sense. I do believe your mistake was...

Re: Couple of quick questions
Hand 1 - fold. With the other callers, their range of hands could easily consist of qjoff, kj, aj, etc...tough hand to play.
Hand 2 - I would call to flop a set or draw with big multiway pot...

Re: 100-200 live, set hand vs tough opponent
Preflop is standard. 4 bet flop and bet out turn. With a flop like that an overpair may go 6 bets with you on flop with heavy draw board. I suspect he turned the nuts, so you may have lost the...

Ahh....my first post ever and you jump all over it. I was hoping to get some others opinions because maybe your play had some merit. Found it to be an interesting hand.

Re: Button steal checkup
If this old guy is making his living at holdem, then he would know to 3 bet a big A preflop. This sounds like its a small suited ace and he figured it was too good to throw away on button steal but...

Re: Button steal checkup
I think just calling the flop and turn is your best action and then revaluate river. Most pros will give up on the river if they respect your play and you have called the turn. Most tight aggressive...

Re: Turn decison-1 player all in
I believed the raiser to be knowledgable and not raise w/o a hand with a dry side pot. I folded top pair. The river went c/c and all in player won with 66. Raiser had AKd and raised flush draw on...

Turn decison-1 player all in
The game is 40-80 with half kill. 2 hours in session and its a kill pot and kill is on button. The kill is loose and will call all raises. I haven't picked up a pot and decide to gamble and limp in...
