Re: [NL200] Shot... Admit a lil high, but level-thinking inappropriate

I dont get it, why are you posting BB UTG? And if you are; why does it not say that you are checking, considering you are first to act?

Re: AA gets checkraised by Tight villain

I put 77-TT in my semibluff-category and consider them as a valid option as to what villain is holding. And I think he would give up those hands after the flop c/r, and that we therefore could take...

Re: AA gets checkraised by Tight villain

Good point jackrich.
I don't really know. I think I look at this situation in a bit screwed up way . I'll do my best to explain..

I believe we can pretty much narrow his holdings in to three...

Re: AA gets checkraised by Tight villain

If he checks the turn, why would that put us in a sticky situation? The only hands we are afraid of here is a set IMO. On that board, he would never check a set on the turn unless a really scary...

Re: AA gets checkraised by Tight villain

I can't fold aces here, we are in position and he could have alot of hands that we beat. If you c-bet alot he can even think that you missed your hand and c/r with AT+s, 88+ and such hands, no?...

Re: NL 50 flops top two

[ QUOTE ]
This is almost always 77 or 88 here fyi.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with this statement. I don't play on Pokerstars, but on 50NL at Everest Poker this is almost always a set.

Re: 50NL. QJo from SB hits OESD on flop. How to play this hand?

I tend to raise these kind of hands from SB and BB with one or two limpers, is that just spew? Note: im pretty laggish(30/20).
I agree with you on the flop c/r.

50NL. QJo from SB hits OESD on flop. How to play this hand?

No reads other than BB(wich I have played against before) who is pretty nitty(15/12/~) over very small samplesize(50 hands).
I just sat down and picked up a nice pot couple of hands ago with AKs....

Re: AQo 50NL. Facing action on flopped nut flushdraw.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it and I realize I have to work on these kind of situations.

Some thoughts on the hand and similar scenario:

What if, let's say I do 3-bet him PF and he...

Re: AA against very weak opponent. 50NL.

Thanks for the answers. I guess it's three lines you could choose, 3-bet flop, c/c or fold. I'm having a hard time figuring out wich one is the best though.
3-bet flop: why would this kind of player...

Re: AA against very weak opponent. 50NL.

It's not like I bet less when I have a huge hand, it's pretty random. Reason I did it this time is I frequently got raised from LP when i bet 3x.
Any thoughts about the hand? Do you raise flop or...

AA against very weak opponent. 50NL.

Ok, so I've been playing on this table for about 1 hour. I bought in with 50BB(yeah, I know) and I'm roughly 31/20/4 in this session(~190 hands).
Villain is unbelieaveably weak, roughly 16/3/1.8...

Re: 100NL AKo - TPTK vs turn push(8 max).

Thanks for the feedback. What made me so suspicious is his turn-bet. At the time it seemed like a desperate move to get me off a better hand since I called his raise on the flop. I mean, wich hands...

100NL AKo - TPTK vs turn push(8 max).

Hi.

Villain is 14/7 over appr. 50 hands. I'm 20/15/5.67 in this session(~100 hands). I multitable so I don't have any specific reads.
What line do you guys like best here? I think AK is a...

Re: 100NL - Tricky situation with KK

Thanks for your reply.
I might as well reveal what I did on the river, cause that's what really bugs me; I folded. And then villain shows up QTo for nothing but a high card. Does this still make my...
