Re: old 100\'s

Re: getting fast cars in automatic....
Manual = more control over the car. With a car like a WRX, it will be more fun to drive with a manual. However, in traffic, a manual is just disgusting. Obviously a trade-off, but having owned fast...

Re: Ordering Takeout
As for the average day cost for take-out, when I go out for lunch - it averages about $10. Guessing here, but I'd estimate 3 meals out a day would be $25 - $30.

Re: Ordering Takeout
Obviously making your own food is 1) cheaper and 2) better for you, but it's also time-consuming. Last night, I cooked spaghetti and some chicken breasts. Then some broccoli and the pasta... it took...

Re: Borgata Craps BBV
Nice try. Borgata, AC pays double on a 2/12, making the HE = 5.56%. If it were triple, the _correct_ HE would = 2.78%. I never said it was the worst bet - I said it was one of the worst bets.

Re: greeting girls...
Women seem to love hugs and as long as they are not creepy hugs, go with it. Some do it on varying degrees of knowing that person, but in general, I think it works well - unless you are getting a bad...

Re: Mod Loses Prop Bet, Won\'t Respond To Me
Bob,
If the $40k deal was after being heavily discounted, what was it worth when the market was flourishing? And, what was the timeframe between full value and discounted value?

Re: Mod Loses Prop Bet, Won\'t Respond To Me
The afternoon of Oct. 1st, he should have been paid. No waiting, no excuses, etc. When a man makes a bet, money should be ready to be paid or collected at the agreed upon date.

Re: Purposely scratching in 8-ball?
Thanks for the replies guys! I was too wasted to really think of making a safety shot, so I just scratched. I thought, for bar games, that it was ball in hand behind the "mark." Not ball in hand for...

Re: Purposely scratching in 8-ball?
What happened was this: I had 2-3 balls left with no shot. My opponent had just the 8-ball left, but it was close to the rail on the other side of the table. Well within the mark where you cannot...

Purposely scratching in 8-ball?
Is it legal? Assume that you have 2-3 balls left and the cue ball is close to the pocket in such a way that you have no shot. Is it legal to scratch?
