Re: $23 NLTRN: Commit stack with TPNK?
eh i don't think the first hand necessarily tells you that he's unafraid of the king in the 2nd one. there's a million draws/air he could be leading out with, and if he's unafraid of the king he's...

Re: 3 barrel this or give up? 1/2NL CASH
if you think he's bad, can't handread (judging by his stack size the first 2 are probably right), and has a fold button, bet something like 55. actually i think you should regardless, because a lot...

Re: Opp just c/r\'d A high board
[ QUOTE ]
seems like a nit
[/ QUOTE ]
i'd probably just let it go then. if he really is a nit then sets aren't that infrequent here, and if he's not a total nit diamonds, sets, air, and maybe...

Re: 200NL 99 Not sure about my line
actually i change my mind on the turn call, you should just fold there. if villain doesn't already have a boat, a K on the river is almost always going to give him either a better straight (AJ) or a...

Re: 200NL 99 Not sure about my line
why are we folding the river when we get there? if we muck to the river bet we should have left on the flop/turn. this looks fine to me. i normally raise flop donks of all kinds, but given villain i...

Re: i gots the nut and second nut flush yoo 400nl
pretty much what orange said. it's very unlikely villain shoves a bare jack or a flush (even jxqh), but he might try to be a hero if you shove. i guess you could bet vsmall (like 100) if you really...

Re: donkbet why?
he probably thinks he has some fold equity w/ the lead, and then when you raise says "i look weak and he's raising w/ ak so [censored] him i arrin".
I would maybe consider leading with a strong...

Re: $100nl: The Two Nines Times
i think the flop is fine, and i fold the turn. imo villain has a 6 a ton and thinks you can't fold whatever hand you b/c the flop. if you want to play the hand differently shove the flop, but i'm not...

Re: LC: U.S.-Friendly Micro Cash?
4 tabling HU cash with no prior experience is a great way to lose your roll quickly. i think you'd be better off playing some 6max (do you have any experience there?), building your BR up to 2-3k and...

Re: JJ out of position
i'd 3bet pf for sure. given that you didn't, you could either c/r the flop (he won't believe you often), 3bet the flop (probably gets a lot of folds but he could think you're FOS still and shove) or...

Re: Top 2
fold? no way man. a6/a8/a zillion draws are way more likely than 66/88/qq. get it in and be really happy about it. also pot the flop on that super drawy board - no ace/FD/SD is ever folding for 10...

Re: NL100 2pairs against donk
I'd raise to 5.5 pf (that's a psr) - it doesn't seem like much but it would make the whole hand play out differently.
pot the flop on this super wet board. no one with an ace or a decent flush/st...

Re: Line w/ JJ?
I think you need to raise the flop for a few reasons:
1) probably have the best hand
2) any diamond/ace/4-8 is either an action killer or puts you behind
3) you need to protect yourself for when...

Re: I will mentor you for free
Jay,
1) I'm currently being coached, and that's helped me a ton since I started. When I started being coached I was breakeven at .5/1 (and had never touched HU), so I'd say I've been successful...
