Re: Flopped a small boat.. and we were very deep..
the only hand I could be afraid of here is JT, oh possible 77 but I don't think he'd call down with that so far, would he?
Anyway, I think min-reraising the River isnt very good, if you don't want...

Re: What does this mean?
He thinks that he's gonna profit from being in position, either usually means that you're a fish or that you fold too much oop in his view.

Re: should i even think about folding this flop?
I think I'd normally call here.
You don't have any fold equity but still I think you'll be at worst 50% against almost anything except a set. Is he likely to push a set in a 40$ pot?
I don't...

Re: 200NL Can I make this big laydown?
I think I'd call here. Reads would be okay
If you're scared of him / he plays good, then I think you can check the turn since he wont be likely to bluff on that board when you called the flop, I...

Re: nl100 set fold

Re: Pokertracker
It depends on your bankroll.
If you just started playing poker I'd rather buy 2 good books than buy poker tracker, for aorund $50 either.
When you know a little about how to play and you have...

Re: QQ shove pre
It could mean that he's tilting or angry but it doesn't have to affect his play, does it ?
Maybe I'm too much afraid, but I guess you could be up against lots of hands here, including AK of...

Re: Bankroll guidelines for HUNL cash games
I have no idea about what bankroll you would need, think of what you can comfortably play and try that. I think it's very personal and you should think of yourself.
I normally play 100nl full/6max...

Re: Where\'s the money? NL questions....
I believe this is very person dependant. For some people its one thing, for other it's another. Since everybody plays their own game, with there own pro's and cons, I think it's hard to say that one...

Re: Winning No-Limit without calling (ever)
I would take this prop bet being the player playing rof. I'm not sure if I would be able to make it in only 4 hours, and I'm not sure I could comfortably play 2-5 NL, but apart from that, I'm sure...

Re: Winning No-Limit without calling (ever)
I think you can play like this and be +ev, but of course it won't be possible to achieve the max +ev, since you remove an option which will sometimes be your best +ev option.
For some people...

How do you mean my friend is paranoid? I agree that he is, but I'm curious as to what you mean and why, in the context of this hand.
By straightforward, in this case I meant he probably raises...

A friend gave me the advice that checking is a catastrophe since if I check he will all in with anything just because I show weakness. While I agree with this, I believe it could be used to induce a...

100nl top set facing scary river.
6-handed $1 NL Hold'em
Hero is small blind in a rather tight game with a mostly conservative, straightforward villain. I won't put him on a range but I'd say the only hand I fear is 77 and I...
