Re: Beat: Larry BIrd
[ QUOTE ]
LOL no one has mentioned Dr J yet. I'd put him over Bird.

As far as I'm concerned having such an opinion tells me you have something like Asperger's syndrome and you...

Re: Odd little hand
[ QUOTE ]
if you called the turn, why wouldn't you call the river?
[/ QUOTE ]
don't you think a second check raise indicates a stronger hand than just the one on the turn?

Re: FT200 Trixy on monotone
I hate monotone flops when I don't have one, so i often peel one to see if a 4th falls on the turn with a decent made hand. if it doesn't i like my hand more so i'll bet.
now that i think about...

Re: is this missed value?
do you have any read here? any stats? anything? With no read against an unknown, I think it's pretty neutral between check and bet. I'd probably bet. Any kind of read could easily swing that...

Re: 200NL 6 max : WTF?! spot
i'm sure he thinks he has something, but it could be a weaker 9 or Ax. He probably knows if you have an ace that kickers won't play, so his raise looks somewhat risk free to him.
call.

Re: 200NL: KK UTG faces BTN re-raise
I don't mind calling the three bet with position, but OOP I would be pressing it preflop.
as played i would peel one and see if he slows down on the turn.

Re: JJ OOP
i definitely would bet more on the flop.
i don't know what to do with that river bet. it's so small, but what diamond hands can he have that we can beat? KQ and...?
We don't have to be good...

Re: NL100 line check: flopped set in reraised pot
i'd definitely bet that turn. the only way we're getting paid is if he has a king anyway. if he has a king, he's trying to get you to bet so he can CR. At that point you can do whatever because...

Re: Oh god, do I really have to valuebet this?
i like bet/fold here. i think most times he has a weaker ace or a queen and I really doubt he's going to check-raise it now.
I also think most players like this lead if they've made a flush...
