Re: Ship the Cayman!

Re: 9-man vs 18-man SnGs
[ QUOTE ]
I think it is mostly a personal matter, I make more money in the 18-man games, so they maybe softer or the end game maybe more suitable for my style, play 2000 games of both and see what...

Re: Way-Too-Early NBA Rookie of Year Predictions
[ QUOTE ]
Even from a sample as small as we have now, I think it's pretty fair to say that it is extremely unlikely he will ever have the impact of a Howard, James, Garnett, etc.
I'm eagerly...

Re: Stars 16 QQ Bubble
[ QUOTE ]
I don't blame you for thinking about folding. If a decent or tight player re-raises you, thinking about folding is not a bad play, especially if you want to make the money.
I would...

Re: $16 - Trips Kings, bet river?
I think a bet is terrible here. What hands that you beat are going to call you? Maybe QT. What hands that you beat are going to fold? None.
I would check and call up to 350 or so, however...

Direction Question
Does anyone coming from Pittsburgh know an alternate route than taking 2 once you get to West Virginia? That road is just terrible at night, I almost hit a deer 3 different times last week.

Re: Mountaineer Trip Report- WV

Just weird that it would be 350BB. And not 200BB, 400BB like most games.

In case you didnt make it there, it is actually a 10/25 game, not 10/20. It usually only runs on...

Re: heads-up at the end of 6-10 seated SNGs
I would guess in the long run if you are playing optimally that you would have more 1sts and 3rds than 2nds. The reason for this is that often optimal play is to sneak into the money, sometime...

Re: Living off SNGs
[ QUOTE ]
Those numbers sound right. It's hard to make a living playing poker. Did you think it was easy?
Think of a simple example. Say you play $55+$5 on FTP. Say you have an ROI of 8%. ...
