HU cash - theory post (raising more then 3x from button)

Hey guys, I am relativly new to headsup so still learning quite a bit.

Yesterday I ran into an opponent that pretty much called almost every time I opened 3x. I realize this is a pretty good...

Re: NL 400 Blind Battle

I use diff aggression stats then most do on my hud, how is he 1.43 total aggression when flop turn and river are such higher numbers? I thought total was just an average of those and maybe preflop...

Re: TPGK on paired turn. How do I extract the most value?

I think leading the flop is much better then checkraising, if you CR it is mostly as a bluff because you do not want to build a big pot with this hand (they will often only call you with better or a...

Re: TT versus aggro reg

i would fold, and 1.5 does not seem VERY AGGRO over 400 hands to me ......

Re: Timing out KK, he MUST have QQQ

seems like a pretty good fold I suppose when you think about his possible holdings, unless if you knew that he would slowplay AA or set of quens more .... but ut us true that it is hard to think of a...

Re: NL 400 Blind Battle

would help if you also mention his agression factor, he is prob not a great player with 23/11 stats ofer 229 hands.

I think there is a reasonable chance you area ahead, he might have a Q, but he...

Re: 400nl JJ oop

looks like a fold to me, I do not see many hands you beat that call on the flop and decide to value bet the river.

I'm pretty sure you are beat since the guys is TAGGY ...

Re: 400nl semibluff spot

If the guy has a low fold to cbet number I think I WOULD be much more likely to continue with the bluff here. However if he has like 75 or higher fold to cbet I am pretty sure you are going to get...

Re: 2/4 AK w/ FD on 3flush flop

I think I would either CR the flop or lead the flop, the hand seems quite strong and it is relatively unlikely that he has the Ace of diamonds .... but maybe I am being too aggro in this spot (don't...

Re: TPGK on paired turn. How do I extract the most value?

I wouldn't call an UTG rais with KQ from the blinds first of all. If I did however, I would not CR the turn unless I wanted to turn the hand into a bluff, I do not see him very often calling here...

Re: NL1k KK, 3-bet pot 160bb. I want to kill myself when I see this flop.

I guess this is an easy felt 100bb deep, but 160bb deep it is kinda worrysome obv against a player like this that is not that aggro postflop. His reraise size does seem to kind of be inviting you to...

Re: Video. Two tables on NL1k.

I don't think you should have CR on the turn with your set of jacks against pip fuigi, he seemed like a pretty bad player and stack and pot sizes were good for you to stack him with a regular...

Re: Boat played really slow

I often like to bet flop, check turn, then bet river because I just do not see many hands calling 3 barrels once that turn hits but I can see many more calling 2 bets. If the opponent was a looser...

Re: WTF spot with ak @ flop

Before I read the result, my initial reaction was to call since flush draw on board and MAINLY BECAUSE DONKEYS RARELY play a big hand that fast (though I guess he might do that with 2 pair ... which...

Re: JJ 3bet pot

NOw that I think about it, and read other responses maybe fold is better, if he had AK, or AJ he would likely just check it for showdown value and not turn his hand into a bluff, I guess for the most...

Re: JJ 3bet pot

I often call here, depends on agression frequency of opponent mostly, I would say it is pretty close, though would be easier call of there were more likely draws on the flop that missed ... he...

Re: 2pair against fish donking river how to play on river

oh yeah, would be nice if you converted, easier to see pot size on each street and you will probably get better quality responses and more responses .... here is link to a converter:

Re: 2pair against fish donking river how to play on river

I would call this because I think I will win atleast 1 out of 3 times, though he prob river you with better 2 pr?? Would be easier to decide if you had a larger hand sample on him and knew better...

Re: NLCASH how do you guys feel about playing shorstacks?

so what do you guys do when you get a 40bb guy grinded down to like 25bb or lower (because now it is essentialy like someone sat with 25bb or less and according to most of your guidelines you don't...

NLCASH how do you guys feel about playing shorstacks?

I am pretty new to headsup, I have played quite a bit of 6max. So far I have been playing people that buyin for 40bb because they generaly seem pretty bad. I do not play against people that buyin...

Re: Is this +EV against Aggro light 3better?

I doubt it is plus EV, too much of an overbet, he will call if he has you crushed and might call with strong draw. If the raise was a more natural size while mainting good fold equity (that is if...

Re: Overpair got CRAI on turn

I think I would probably call (I am not a master at making laydowns). I really do not think it is big +- EV either way. I guess with TT I would be pretty comftorable calling .... 99 seems...

Re: AK BvB 4bet cbet this?

quick question, what does the 24 mean at end of stat line for him?

Looks like villian is TAG regular that is quite aggro postflop. I think you line is fine, maybe 4bet little bigger preflop since...

Re: can we call this riveR?

I would not call, especialy since his stats are pretty passive so far. The most probable holdings I suppose on the flop for him would be a pocket pair smaller then a 9 on the flop or a flush draw or...
