Re: Minireraised late in 10r
Late, I see the mini-raise a lot with AA-QQ.....Occasionly with, Ax Kx...and lower pocket pairs. Most of the time you are, at best, flipping...
I see it so often, I am very leery of this donk move...

Re: $5.50 - AKs in SB, is this a fold?
Don't pass up opportunities to build a stack early. I re-raise this every time in a low level MTT....and I'll get them all in preflop if challenged. Read the post by Woodguy in the MTT wisdom thread...

Re: $10+1 Stars: JJ on paired flop
We might have the best hand...we may be way behind. Neither play is horribly wrong here. As either could work...
I don't get 2 arguments made here though.
1. C-betting gets you no info? What...

Re: Daily Double AA early 245 flop
Agreed....could have 66-99...or a flush draw....or a set. There are a lot more hands we are crushing than hands that crush us.....so get 'em in.

Re: Possible dilemma in the late stages
I couldn't disagree more. With an M of 4 he is in under serious pressure. If 88 is 82% likely to be the best hand here...folding is defintely -EV. And that is bad poker.
Our goal should be to win...

Re: AA utg 5 handed; any advice/comments??
Without reads or an idea of your table image I'd say Preflop is pretty standard. Post flop looks like somebody's chasing a flush and somebody hit top pair so the call is standard. You got your chips...

Re: TT faces 10x reraise. WTF to do here?
Shove. Never pass up edges early...especially in these tournneys. I would quote Adanthar's great post on not passing up early edges that's in the MTT Wisdom thread...but the link isn't working.

What he said....there's no way a bet will fold out a draw...and you could already be drawing dead.

Re: AQs on BB breaking up a spat.. line check
You raised like you were going to go and go....as played, follow through with a shove on the flop. You've committed to much of your stack preflop for any other line.
If they are donks (at least...

Re: 99 utg i think my line stunk
I hate spots like this preflop. He can make that reraise move with AK - A10 (and maybe worse Aces depending on the level) He could also make this move with 10-10 thru AA. He could also be more...

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
In this spot I call here 100% of the time unless I'm up against somebody I know. He probably has a diamond...but he could have a lower card. You don't act like your on a draw. Call. I think if you do...

Questionable Limp....tough spot....
Live MTT. We have a rotating homegame with a $25 buy in and a rebuy period. Started with 20 runners down to 8. Top 3 pay. A little different as I have good reads on everyone at the table....as they...

Why post...and then complain when you get legit critiques. Why are you complaining about a player that calls a huge raise with slop? Put in a note and take his chips next time....
That kind of...

Re: Aces in the $50k
We may have the math to get it in here...but can't we find a better spot? If we fold, we still are in good shape. If we lose, we are down about 50% of our stack. I don't like to pass up spots to keep...

Re: Aces in the $50k
Tough situation...
Any reads?
UTG limps....You make a raise....CO calls with a lil less than 2-1. His range would be....fairly narrow AK-AJ suited (maybe) and 88-AA.
BB entry gives UTG...
