Re: August Goals Thread

-Move up in limit & then not move back down
-Become an advanced player so that I can read HPFAP (probably more long term than August)

Re: Free card standard here?

[ QUOTE ]

you have a reason to raise the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's probably a leak in my game but I look at a donk-bet on the flop as a weaker move, I would expect a check-raise out of a...

Re: KQo linecheck, intresting hand

[ QUOTE ]
Jorge, you don't have top credit him with a flush to be worried about SB's holdings. Don't forget he 3-bet a UTG raiser plus a cold-caller. That should indicate something, right?

Re: (for value) call or raise this river ?

*Grunch*

Flush draw didn't come in on the river and someone can have a made str8. I would think that any hand will either fold to one or call two. Therefore, raise.

Re: KQo linecheck, intresting hand

*Grunch*

I raise the flop, with the chance that SB is going to make a c-bet here, I don't credit him for a made flush automatically. We have to protect our hand.

As played, turn and river are...

Re: KQs against a 3-bet

This is HU? If so I fold, his line seems like an overpair and I don't think that all of your outs are clean.

Re: Hey, I\'m not Stealing! (Or other unbiased title)

*Grunch*

I expect to see Jx here more than a full house. He probably would have tried for a check-raise at some point if he has you beat. I probably would have wussed out and called the re-raise...

Re: 66 overpair

Bet, you are likely ahead right now but your hand is exceedingly weak. Many likely missed this flop, see if you can fold a few out and see what comes back to you. If maniac raises you I...

Re: Flushdraw HU on the turn.

*Grunch*

It seems like winning this is almost entirely dependent on hitting the flush, you have 12 outs at best and are therefore far less than the > 50% likely to win this pot you need to value...

Hand 1 = Seems ok, I may have knee-jerk three bet the check-raiser but I think that you are drawing to two outs. Would anyone fold this hand?

Hand 2 = Standard

"Even if you are almost sure that you are beaten, when the pot is large on the river, do not fold decent hands for one bet."

Re: Busted AA, sorry needed to vent

React1oN,
I think I wouldn't have cared if the guy rivered on me, it was the continuous sandbagging that lead me to believe MHIG on the river when no obvious draw came in. That's what drove me nuts...

Busted AA, sorry needed to vent

Background: I've been getting very few playable hands -- last several were low-mid PPs. AA was something nice to wake up with, thought things were turning around.

I wouldn't credit a lag for much in this situation. That said, this is a flop that is more likely to hit him in some way than you and he (probably) knows that (since you raised).

Riku,

Looking at it again, the flop action is consistent for 88, I was thinking that V2 was the one who bet, not V1.

Re: When to fold?

*Grunch*

For 1 BB in an 18.5 BB pot, folding is not an option in my book.

If someone has K8, K5 or K4 I think that you have to pay that off, same goes for KK (give yourself a consoling hug,...
