Re: Fairly dead split queens (Stud hi)
Folding 3rd is certainly not even a question. 5th you probably could, but I dunno, a lot of people will bet here with junk and I found a quarter in my backpack the other day which would cover calls...

Re: Split aces (blah)
I wouldnt worry about getting the draw out too much. If he has trips, you need to fill to win the hand. If you fill you will beat seat 1 anyway.

The fact that he calls 6th against your board and then bets 7th makes me think you're beat. Like most of these situations, I'd probably call, but while I was calling I'd probably sigh and...

Oh, well I want him off his hands and I'm betting 6th now that I'm showing a high straight which is a semi bluff that usually works here. Didn't think he would call 6th, because obviously...

wacky boards. Do you have any reads on the player?
Try running some sims on twodimes and see where you are. I am not sure you are ahead on 6th, unless all he has is the dead spade draw with...

I probably crying call here. He would raise with a straight or backdoor flush, but does he put you on more than aces up? I doubt it given the limp and the fact that he's a fishy. He only has to be...

Re: Raise or call here? (stud)

This is definitely not a fold with a very live king kicker. Only reason I say it might be a call is because only 1 9 is dead. If a King and a 9 are dead it's a sure fold, but I'm pretty...

Re: Fold split Jacks? FTOPS $535 HORSE
I like the fold. If I am reading this right, a short stack at the table is raising a bigger limping upcard with a big stack....and you have a lower pair with a dead lower kicker. If the King has...
