Re: ***yankees official offseason thread*****
If the Sox end up with Johan, the Yankees are in a lot of trouble in a 7 game series. I don't think a team with the financial resources of the NY Yankees should be worried about what prospects they...

Re: Beat: our society is retarded
I don't think there's anything wrong with pretending to be messing with hardcore drugs when you're young. The old breaking open a sugar packet at a restaurant then chopping it up into a line then...

Re: **Atlanta Braves offseason thread
I'm pretty sure I remember Chipper renegotiating his deal to give the Braves some pretty significant financial flexibility a couple years ago. He can't be that selfish, but I understand where Smoltz...

Re: **Atlanta Braves offseason thread
I like this deal a lot, 1st Rd draft picks are basically crapshots anyway. If Glavine can stay healthy and continue to pitch well this could really solidify the rotation.

Re: **Atlanta Braves offseason thread
How big could his salary get with arbitration? I think at 10-12 Million with him playing for a contract could be great value or a huge bust. I thought this year he would have put up some big numbers,...

**Atlanta Braves offseason thread
It looks like things are looking pretty good for the future of the Braves. They appearantly have a surplus of cash to spend on next year's team.

Re: Wife offers deal
You should negotiate a better deal, how much is 1K going to help when you're trying to play $150-$200 MTT's? Tell her you'll take 5K at a 40-60% split in your favor, or the 1K at a 20-80% split....

Re: A Snowy Vacation Home.. Where Should it Be?
I think Ft. Collins Colorado is a great fit for your criteria. It's a college town, lots of places to ski and drink, lots of hot women, affordable housing, and a great atmosphere. I've only been...

Re: Trip report - NFL London
I thought it was a pretty damn good game, and much more interesting than my other option (Colts v Panthers)at the time. A lot of NFL fans enjoy a bad weather smash-mouthed football game, with 2 solid...

Re: AK after limper in 3r
There's a lot of factors I would take into consideration before I did anything fancy, would the button shove most of his hands if you limp? Will the big stack BB call/re-raise most 2-3X LP raises?...

Re: 2nd in 3.30 rebuy cashing out?
I wouldn't recommend cashing it out without reporting it to the IRS, but I guess you could cash it all out and still fly under the radar. I'm pretty sure they only know about transactions of more...
