Re: Stars $50 - Overpair vs flop raise

Based on his stats (although you didn't say how many hands he's played) and the fact the board is flush drawing (thus adding strong draws to his range) I'd say 3-bet/felt it. Reads help a lot in...

Re: 100NL - Top set on 3 card straight flop, 4-way limped pot. Too wea

You are 64 bb deep (why?), you should happily want to felt top set, even in a limped pot on that board. 3-bet the flop and happily get it all-in on the turn.

Re: NL 100 my trips runs into heat.

With his river bet sizing he has you beat a high % of the time, but you only need to be good a small % of the time. It's close, but I call.

Re: 100NL AQ TPGK facing donk bet

I think he is limping/calling a lot of small pairs and suited connectors here, which makes me think he has a set, two pair, combo draw or draw a lot of the time, which makes me think your equity here...

Re: Sleeping Habits

Cut down on either work or poker, simple as that. If you are winning more at poker than you earn at your job, I'd be cutting down your 9-5. Maybe switching to cash games is also a solution, you...

Re: 50NL- 44 Flops a Full House

No doubt if he has an 8 the money is going in anyway. I'm more thinking if he has jacks, I want to commit him now before a scare card rolls off. I'd advocate min-raising before I'd say go ahead and...

Re: AA ~250BB deep against aggression (I suck at poker)

I'm sure you don't suck at poker, this is a genuinely tough situation. That daunting feeling of playing a little deeper than you are used to in these situations doesn't exact help.

Raising is...

Re: 50NL- 44 Flops a Full House

The basis of your problem seems to be this... the villain probably doesn't have a strong enough hand to give you that much more action here most of the time. There isn't much you can do about that......

Re: 50nl flopped set OOP on monotone board -Deep Stacked

I think I'd probably lead here for like $3.75 at least. Hopefully he raises w/ an over pair w/ diamond, if not any over pair and gives you action with any hand that has a diamond. I think c/r just...

Re: NL50 - Playing a draw against overpair

What works well for you is that you are in position, meaning value will be easier to extract should you hit. If you assume an over pair you are about 30% and hey, what do you know, pot odds are...
