Re: $26 180 plrs late JJ decision

I would have shoved first instead of flatting it. You're ahead of UTG's range and even if BTN has JJ+ you're still getting a good price to call, so I would call. But I don't think folding is...

Re: In the blinds with consistent pressure-call river???

you're not getting any info just by calling, I would raise flop so you can see if your TPGK is good

Re: AK pf, against rr shove & 2 more to act

shove, SB and BB would have 3-bet already if they had you beat, so there's no need to worry about them.

Re: 44$6max: Made a hand on the turn

check/fold flop, check/fold turn, check/call a small bet on river. I don't see you ever being ahead here.

Re: Too passive or easy fold??

You're a pretty big favorite over most ranges here, so I think its an easy shove. Even if you get called by a bigger ace, you're still a favorite.

Re: Fold KK early?

I would 3-bet more pf, at least 800. Even so, this is def. a +EV spot. I don't know what other kind of spot you're looking for where we're ahead a larger percentage of the time. You could make the...

Re: i hate when someone minireraises preflop any answers?

What hands in his 3-bet range do you beat that justifies you calling with AT?

Re: 4/180 how should I play this

I would much rather raise on the button with this hand, than limp.

Re: push near the bubble - unsure of strategy

Your equity decreases dramatically if you just call and miss, making any bet/shove/call on the turn -EV. Also, if you spike a spade on the turn, how likely is it that you can extract more chips from...

Re: Poker X factor

PXF is probably the best "training site" for tournament players. With that said, a PXF subscription isn't going to make you a better tourney player overnight. If you haven't read Harrington on...

Re: push near the bubble - unsure of strategy

[ QUOTE ]
I've folded hands as big as 9s, in late position, with only one raiser in front, because I didn't like the table texture or the idea of going out at that point.

Re: Live tournament - TT vs CO Raiser

This is an easy 3-bet pf. Also could you give more info on stack sizes, blinds/antes, pot size. My initial reaction is that he has air and your TT is good.

Re: $22 NL, JJ on SB, about bubble time, not a shove?

Standard...Your M=4.75, if JJ isn't a strong enough hand for you to push with that M, then you're playing way too tight.

Unless you know for a fact that UTG+1 likes to limp with AA and KK or CO...

Re: AA gets check raised on the turn

raise more pf and bet more on the flop...as played, shove, I think you're a favorite against most ranges here.

IMO calling is the worst play. The turn doesn't change anything and what river card...
