Re: Bottom pair 3way
[ QUOTE ]
I call this preflop too cuz I love suited connectors.
Am I the only one who just folds this flop to the continuation bet?
[/ QUOTE ]
No.
This hand is RIO at its finest.

Re: turn decision w/ 2 overs and a gut shot
This is the kind of board texture where you will get check-raised a lot.
For me, betting here is player dependent. Against LAPs and certain TAGs I would be more inclined to bet; and against LAGs,...

I check. It would be a different story if your kicker played.

Re: wtf is going on on this river?
Interesting hand.
I think Sethy is the only one you have to worry about here, but since the Button is a fish, I wouldn't rule out a passively played King. But as Sharpie asked, if Sethy had a hand...

gotta bet this
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, checking gives overs infinite odds. Also you get value from AK, AQ, which would definitely call a turn bet.

I was only doing that against you because I was messing with you. My stealing range is pretty wide, but it's mostly because I think I can outplay them post-flop. You can beat 1/2 for a...

Re: 25k Hands of Total Smashing
Thanks, Abs.
I would like to open up my game. I notice your stealing range is much wider than mine. 72off and 96off come to mind /images/graemlins/smile.gif. How does that work out for you?

25k Hands of Total Smashing
All hands at 1-2, 2-4.
Probably a typical 6 max downswing. However, my stealing % is 4% down from when I was running goot. Seems everytime I try a little theft from the CO or HJ I get cold-called...

Yeah, Chawinski seems to have a wide stealing range, but gives up real easy when played back at.
If you bet the river in that K9 hand, I was gone. You could have QQ, JJ, etc. and I could easily...

I usually play the player and will open my game vs. a LAG and play more creatively against a TAG. As you know, these games are filled with more LAPs than LAGs unless it's early A.M. when the Euro...

Taking a freecard HU against fish
You raise QJs OTB, the Lappy fish calls in the BB.
Flop gives you a flush draw. The Lap donks. Since we've played with him before, we know his donk always means a pair and we also know we have...

A lot of broadway cold calling hands hit this flop here. People overestimate their equity in this situation. These flops (3 cards in the "pretty card range") aren't that great when...

Against an unknown, I call down and expect to lose, but sometimes you find yourself with the winner. Plus, you get some needed info on his capping range.

30K stats post
Hands mostly at 25/50, 50/1, and 1/2 with like 200 at 2-4. Game's are usually filled with LAPs and a few LAGs. VPIP too low?
I've reigned in my HJ stealing range with weak off-suit Aces since such...
