Re: Ugh, TPTK AQ on scary card checkraise
[ QUOTE ]
I don't like the turn 3-bet. Villains at this level generally aren't tricky enough to semibluff check-raise the turn with a flush draw, which is about the only hand for villain to have...

Re: Ugh, TPTK AQ on scary card checkraise
Read is pretty meaningless obviously, you might take a degree of tightness out of it, but the aggression figures should be ignored imo.
He could still have KQ QJ and have waited for turn, or even...

There needs to be a neutral decision maker stating what the outcome of the bet was. For example, it would be bad if the house had an interest in the outcome, because the market can only...

As already said your example is WA/WB and you could c/c,c/c,c/c or c/c,c/c,b/f.
As you think that your opponent would check behind on the river with a weaker hand, I would prefer b/f...

Re: KQo gets 3 bet OOP
[ QUOTE ]
I think the range you are assigning the 3-bettor is more like the 3-betting range of a rock. I think most reasonable players will 3-bet a AQo, AJs, KQs, 99, and 88 a good amount of the...

KQo gets 3 bet OOP
If we playing full ring and we make a raise from say MP3 with KQo and we get three bet by a CO villian who is fairly reasonable, we put him on TT+ AQs+ AKo, and we call, it's HU and the flop comes...

LOL
Raise again pray for some folds, and call down hopefully cheap, no chance you can fold here with the pot this big, I hope you were good.

Re: So I 3 bet preflop with AKo...
I'm gonna go ahead and bet this flop because;
a) The pot is fairly substantial
b) Theres a moderate chance he has a worse ace
c) He might call down with a mid pocket pair
d) He could easily...

KQo when 3 bet OOP by tight player (LC)
Imagine a 10 handed table you raise KQo in MP3 and get 3 bet by a tightish guy (CO) who you reckon is on TT+ AK and AQs+, all fold back to you. I was trying to work out the kind of flops where I...

Re: NL25 How to play this draw
Personally I think given his read he bet too much on the flop, as he beats nothing, but at least it's made the call automatic.

Re: NL25 How to play this draw
Well I call the push there because as you said he's pretty tight preflop, he probably made a mistake in calling your 3 bet if he does have a set, and if he has 88+ you are still only a 2-1 dog.

Passive line okay vs this villian OOP with AA
50NL 6 Max
Villian is 24/19 with postflop aggression numbers of 10.5/4.4/2.1 over 860 hands.
The flop sort of makes sense because he likely folds a lot of hands that he would bet with if I make...
