Re: What happened to Kravchenko
Downswing is probably calculated automatically, based on what chip count they enter... (and/or vice-versa)
Btw., update. Tomorows table with stacks:
Table #76
Seat 1: Erick Lindgren - 99,000...

Re: What happened to Kravchenko
Or they forgot to add 1 zero... It would make much more sense, as it would mean he has 350.000 stack & dropped for 40.000.

Re: ivey, benyamine etc buying in for 16k?
Ivey often mentions (in interviews) that he never goes into a game with a strategy, he just tries to first get the right "feel" of the game before the real action begins...
He mentioned that for...

Re: CA Online Poker Initiative!!
Yeah Kartiken, I agree with most of what you wrote.
But Tuff also mentioned that "grinders" would kill the game. Well such rake would kill it anyhow. IMO to a higher extent than "grinders" would....

Re: AJ bubble play Short stacked
I push this, unless that raise to 600 looks (very) suspicious. Depends on his previous stealing. If he normally makes standard raises I might suspect a top hand here. (but it would have to be a very...

Re: (22$-33$ Speeds) 200/400 - good hands in non-push situations
A made-up example: 5 players, everyone with 4000 chips, we are CO with KQs.
BB: 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+
SB: 66+,ATo+,A8s+,KQs
BTN: 88+,AJo+,ATs+
(EV Diff. -0.0%)
OK, so folding is the action if...

Re: Quick question about ICM
Because chipEV isn't equal to $EV in SNGs. To make it easier to understand: like, the one who has all the chips in the end only earns 50% of the money (in 50-30-20 SNGs of course).

At 200/400 you have to go with it imo.

I guess this an obvious push to you at 400/800 then, and it may well be. FYI at 200/400 I'm getting -0.1 EV with button...

Folding AA on the bubble (SERIOUS)
That "Folding AA on the bubble" thread got me into thinking in what situation can you fold AA.
Let's see a made-up example: (blinds are 300/600)
BB 400
SB 200

Re: $33S: Simple AK question
I don't like giving him free cards. Just push and take it down here...

Re: 35+3, flopped a set, should I fold?
Let's say he has a flush for SURE. Then if you fold, your $EV is around 0.21 and if you call, your expected $EV is around 0.18 (you call&lose, it's 0.0782, you call&win, it's 0.3595, and you have 35%...
