yea he doesnt even have enough to make a full 3 bet, so consense reraise river for value. And call if it was a blank?

This make it an even clearer raise I think. And...

Re: HU vs unknown
[ QUOTE ]
You need to raise the river for value and i dont think you can fold to a 3 bet. HU is an information saturated environment and you need to have an idea about how he is playing so you can...

Re: HU vs unknown
People saying that he knows that ur range is weighted towards A-high: 1) For this reason the ace is a perfect bluff card and our opponent probably knows that and calls with more than you think. 2)...

Re: HU vs unknown
Against a total unknown I'll call a blank river. I think I raise river and probably call a 3-bet in this situation (expecting to lose - I just wanna see his hand + many people make retarted river...

fwiw I think the two peels are standard against almost all opponents.
EDIT: And you can't reraise river. You can raise, though.

Re: HU vs unknown
I had just written some crap until I saw it was HU. You gotta have some kind of read. Is he 3-betting lightly? Value betting much? Folding much or calling down? What's your image?
What I'm trying to...

I've been a member of DC and am currently subscribing to Stoxpoker.
Stoxpoker's classroom videos are great and Stox' 6-max videos are pretty good too. I do think, however, that DD's LAG style makes...

Re: BB vs. Limped SB **POLL**
I voted autoraise. I don't autoraise, but I raise alot of hands in this situation. Often these limpers are bad and I rape them after the flop in position.

Re: when to let up with a set?
Aaah, I misread the action. For some reason I thought it was BB who jammed turn.
UTG has either limped a big pp or he's on crack, possibly with a FD. Either way I c/c and expect to lose.
btw I...

Re: when to let up with a set?
I complete preflop 100/100 times unless BB is really tight and UTG is really bad (and I'd probably still complete!).
I just c/c the river. I don't think you beat BB and the flushdraw just came in.

Re: 3 barrels?
I like the whole hand and I do fire the river getting 6.25 to 1. I think he'll peel twice with almost all overs. He's probably peeling and hoping you'll give up and give him a free showdown. The...

I agree with defending and stealing more. I do think the rake plays a pretty big part in these areas so don't overdo it though.

Re: Official SSSH LC/NC Thread for November!
So I'm playing some HU and it's going fine (except for the damn hit n runners). I've got a 9-handed table open too where I'm just playing tight and minding my own business. It's a great table with...
