Re: Talking poker outside 2p2
Don't bother. No one wants to hear about your hands and your friends/family will only make like harder for you if you discuss your swings. And even if you go on a perpetual heater, you can't really...

Re: Raise Size
I don't see a point in raising unless it's a shove. A shove has the possibility of being called by a bluff buster or top pair, but I think he might get scared with just a queen. If he has two pair,...

Re: Any major leaks how I played this??
editing not allowed, but I doubt trips after looking again. You probably see a reraise preflop with 8s or 7s. the weird betting looks a lot like k8 or k7. i wish the results weren't posted, but it...

Re: $5NLTRN: Could use some help here
[ QUOTE ]
Yes, I folded Q2s in the second hand.
3rd hand I felt like I had the best hand when I bet the turn. In retrospect, calling the raise might have been a mistake because it meant having...

Re: $5NLTRN: Could use some help here
Did you fold queen 2 spades from the small blind preflop?
I'd be way more comfortable shoving with the queen 2 offsuit (probably getting it all in on the turn) than the a7. I'd be betting the flop...

Re: Any major leaks how I played this??
the betting was weird, which is why AK looks beat. If the OP bet, the villain, raised, and the OP shoved, it'd be normal and certainly reasonable, with the betting going the way it did, it looks...

Re: Play a hand with me (NLTRN)
I understand we'd like to manipulate the villain here, but I just don't see how holding two under cards with little chance of being the best at showdown is really the best place for us to be making...

Re: Any major leaks how I played this??
AK on 8K7 rainbow board.
"yojorge: checks
bpmst2: bets 80
yojorge: raises 80 to 160
bpmst2: raises 180 to 340
yojorge: raises 180 to 520"
I think it's pretty clear AK is beat at: "yojorge:...

Re: Play a hand with me (NLTRN)
Could you explain why chip conservation at this point isn't at least a concern?
Likely possibilities:
A. We draw to the gutshot. Don't hit. We could end up paying 240 chips if we see the river...

Re: Play a hand with me (NLTRN)
c/f. we're drawing to a gutshot, but with a flush draw and pair on board, we could make it and see a flush or full house for all our chips. we also only have 1/2 the chips of the villain, so I don't...
