Re: Prop bet for Full Ring
Your buddy is not worried about getting hustled?
With a big enough bet, you could easily make a deal with some players to get chips dumped to your biggest stack.
I assume you can play many tables?

Re: Average Hands
Trojan rabbit, I agree.
That is what the S-C numbers mean. They mean that since the opponent is not calling with a truly random hand, you can still move in if your stack is equal or smaller than...

Re: Bluffing the Flush
I am thinking this is a winning play against low'ish limit nits. Against observant players you will bust out if you try it too often. I would use it like any bluff, sparingly.

Re: Style confusion help plz!
BTW, 20/18 means that you play 20% of the hands you are dealt (voluntarily put money into pot) and raise 18% of hands preflop (basically almost all hands you play).
My limited understanding is...

Re: Pot/Implied Odds in 1/2 NL
How well can you really guess your opponents hand?
You cannot really put anyone on A4o when they call your pfr.
You should be putting them on a range of several hands. In this case the range of...

Re: busting down and moving up
Yeah, I agree with Rek. If your min. bankroll is 20 BI, you should consider yourself killing the level good enough once you have 40 BI which is enough to bump your level.
I'd probably wait until...

Re: NL50: JJ - Do we shove here?
I'll not shove with JJ preflop in full ring without good statistics/reads. This spot is a tough one.
I'd call if the smallstack CO would be the last player left, but you are faced with UTG+1 in...

Re: Pot/Implied Odds in 1/2 NL
Taking implied odds into account is more complex than just considering that you can stack the opponent if you hit.
Many opponents do not give the implied odds that some players take for granted....

Re: 65s facing 3-bet
From position, I'd call that preflop.
Not a big winner in EV terms, but I see positive expectation, especially if villain is a bit weak tight.

Re: Ranking of AK among best starting hands
AK is definitely a good hand as long as you do not overvalue it after the flop. The problem often is that people get into a big pot with it and cannot let go even against poor odds.
My results...

Re: AK
Very read related for me. You could be dealing with AJ or AT even for the villain since this is NL10.
If he is a maniac, then push. If he is a solid TAG'ish, then fold. The between part is tough.

Re: Full house, what about river?
OK, just for the math part that is a push if you consider that he'd do that with the straight. However, I consider his play (raise to 20) to be a mistake because it would be called only by a full...

Assuming that only your interference can change something.
Otherwise the events repeat like clockwork.

Re: KK Against tight player
He called preflop, so AA is not too likely.
Looks like something AQ or KQ would do, especially when considering the extremely low stakes. Also, AKs of spades could play that way but many would push...

Re: BB/100 variations question !
I'd say that actually 10k is very little. Any upswing or downswing can change the result a lot. During 1000-2000 hands you could get so much "extra" from a good run that your winrate is inflated...

My game improved a lot when I realized I do not have to try for big pots with top pair or overpair. Mid-small pots are good enough. Not to say that you should not be agressive,...

Re: 25NL FH vs. Nitty TAG
I am thinking raise to 9-10 and fold to push.
If he calls, you should get a showdown without a river bet from the BB.
Reasoning would be that if he has a 5, he will likely push you if you raise...
