Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
So, doing my November PT review earlier I looked at the stats on the 15 regs I play with most often. I have between 550 and 1400 hands on these guys for the month.
Number of regs with any...

I think this hand is close. He is unlikely to have AQ or AA/QQ because he did not raise preflop. Even though he's passive, most players would still open raise those premium hands. He...

Re: NL50: Valuebet at river with TPMK
Not opening ATo here is a sin IMO.
And I can't really understand why so many people want to bet turn. We are never getting 2 streets of value here, so if villain is more likely to call 1 street,...

Re: AA in reraised pot NL50
To say it is mandatory to stack off in any situation - barring quads - cannot be right. Not a mantra I live by anyway.
I can find a fold on the turn if I am emotionally in control and this aggro...

Re: NL50 TT on J-high board line check
I like Trig's thinking preflop:
Hand 0: 57.790% { 99+, AJs+, AKo } or {JJ+, AQ+}
Hand 1: 42.210% { TT }
So we are probably behind villain's range preflop, so calling hoping to play...

Re: Last Words on The Kenny Patrik Thing
David, it is a bit coarse to use the word "presently" to mean "now". "Presently" should really only be used to denote "soon" or "in the near future".
"At present" is far better for "now".
To be...

Re: NL50 - A5s, deep, TP, Turndonk
I am wondering about the cbet...we have horrible RIO, a marginal TP, it is still a small pot, the flop is all over average calling ranges and we are 3-way. So I'm not sure about it TBH.
As played,...
