Re: 500nl (live) - J8, bottom two, drawy flop, 160bb deep

Vilain does not 3-bet much (QQ+, AK is most of his range, even in that spot), and he can certainly smooth call with such hands in that spot to trap a loose opener.

And yes, vilain could call with...

500nl (live) - J8, bottom two, drawy flop, 160bb deep

Vilain is a decent TAG (not that tight, but let's just say he's not the typical loose player one can find in a live game), who almost always shows the goods in big pots, and who doesn't defend his...

Re: NL600: Some RR pot fun

With those stacks and considering vilain's stats, I think 55 and 66 are also quite possible. Aces and kings too, no?

Hi,

Besides Stars, Party, FTP and iPoker, is there any other sites where I can find 400nl full ring tables almost any time of day?

Re: 100 NL - Rivered set, easy fold?

In the 3-5% range. I doubt he raises 4 opponents in the blinds with that sort of hands.

100 NL - Rivered set, easy fold?

Vilain rarely raise pre-flop and is not particularly aggressive post-flop.

Re: 100NL - 2 pairs Vs loose (post-flop) passive vilain , river play?

So we should assume that vilain would call a 15$ bet but would fold for 30$?

Also, I'm not sure I like betting 15$ and folding for another 15$ in a 75$ pot. Not because of the pot odds but because...

Re: 100NL - 2 pairs Vs loose (post-flop) passive vilain , river play?

The problem is, vilain being a short stack, only has a pot size bet left.

Re: 100NL - KK, overpair Vs TPA vilain

Fold the flop !?!

Couldn't vilain raise this flop with TPTK, QQ, OESD or with a stone cold bluff?

Re: 200NL - AJ, re-raised pot, AKJ flop

Good question. I didn't bother to mention vilain's stats because I had not play that much against him and I didn't think it would matter much in a spot like this one ... I guess I was wrong.

Re: 200NL - AK, pre-flop

I know I'm probably not against a worse hand but with 154$ to call to win 243$, I need 39% equity to make the call.

Vs KK+,AK, I have 37% equity. If we consider the times vilain plays back at me...
