Re: Building a bankroll in mtt tournaments
I don't have Pocker Tracker so this is just from the top of my head. I usually have time for one tourney every day, so I doesn't add up for that many tourneys. Some MTTs I play have a field of 200+,...

Re: Building a bankroll in mtt tournaments
Well your situation is similar to mine when I made my last deposit about a month ago. I had $46, started playing $2-5$ MTTs (playing at a not-so-major site) and 10NL ring games. It took me about a...

Re: Late in a tourney, I\'m dealt 9 9
So I figured. But for some reason pushing all-in instead of (min) raising never crossed my mind (guess it's just me playing a little too tight in the later stages, something I need to improve on -...

Re: Late in a tourney, I\'m dealt 9 9
I know the min raise PF is a bit bad, but I took down the pot with a 3xbb raise last hand and I'm new to the table, I don't want anyone to think I'm stealing here and come over the top (witch did...

Late in a tourney, I\'m dealt 9 9
So here's another one. Might be a fairly easy for most of you but I still need to ask. It's a $3.5r MTT with a prize pool of $5.5k. I'm 9/23. The starting field was 630 and the tourney has been...

Re: First hand in a tourney I get AA
I see. Thank you all for the answers. I was just a bit stuck here, it's not that often that I get AA this early in a tourney. I never slowplay aces PF but I guess this early I just didn't know what...

Re: First hand in a tourney I get AA
OK. I have played with the button before and he seems a pretty bad player imo, not sure if he would have laid down his 55

Can you give me a number here. I don't want everybody to fold PF so I figured 200 would be optimal.

You dont want everybody to call either.

Re: First hand in a tourney I get AA
So you would check/call the flop gtpitch? I was BB and first to act.
For the record I did call, MP showed QQ and BTN had 55 for a set that beat me. But I figure I'm ahead here most of the time to...

First hand in a tourney I get AA
I'm sorry for not posting the hand as required because none of the HH converters work with the site I play at. Moreover I don't think they're so important as it's the first hand in the tourney.

Re: Good play or bad play.
Definitely raise the flop to define if your top pair is good or not. If he re-raises I'd fold.

Re: Need help with a hand
Thanks everyone. It seems that I did a lot of things wrong here. But I really didn't think he connected on the flop and that's why I bet (and the pot was 230 PF so my bet post flop was more than 1/2).
