Re: 2pair facing river shove on 50NL

[ QUOTE ]
Pre flop and flop are both pretty bad. When you complete with A2 out of position what are you hoping to flop?

Then a nits nit raises you on the flop and calling even 2 into 12 is goofy...

Re: 50NL AA 6-Max Facing Turn Decision

Since you state that this player is calling pre-flop raises with a large range of hands, you should be consistently raising more preflop. When I have a player like this on my right (nice seat...

Re: AJ in reraised flop!

His stats aren't particularly LAGgy - PFR of 15 isn't strongly aggressive, and a post-flop aggression of 1.2 is on the passive side.

Fold preflop after he 3bets you. You're OOP with an easily...

Re: $10NL 6max: Flop Top 2pair 3way -What action do I take?

Given your read, there is no value to be obtained from inducing bluffs. Bet about .75 and hope he has AA, AK, or KQ. Any raise from him allows you to start building a bigger pot and will make it...

Re: 25NL Donked on flop w/ overpair

Both are somewhat short. A pot size raise puts both of them either just about or all the way in. With lots of draws and overcards out there, our equity isn't through the roof but we probably have...

Re: KK facing AI on the turn

Once the flop comes up with no ace in this 3bet pot, your plan should be to get it all in the middle. There's too much in the pot relative to the remaining stacks to really play it any other way. ...

Re: [NL50] KK - deep and against UTG raise => linecheck plz

On the river, stick it in yourself. There's a lot of hands he'll call with that he would much rather check behind, and you're only inducing bluffs from donkeys who don't understand you're not...

Re: With hands like this, am I just pot, pot, potting?

Flop and turn look fine to me. Standard size bets to charge flush/straight/overs to see the next street, or to get value from smaller PP.

River is a bit more problematic. Better hands aren't...

Re: NL25 - 56 in BB, flopped 2pair.

Advice on hand: well played.

Advice on tilting after losing a 70/30 or even a 90/10: don't do it, losing happens all the time. You're still in the perfect seat to take advantage of a bad,...

Re: Right move or not with AA?

Played fine, especially given your read that he's been playing back at you. Pot size is fine, especially since that's been been your standard and you do have a strong hand here. No way am I folding...

Re: Ugly comments in hand histories.

Another great Pokey post (although I think you might have left one off that I've been seeing a lot lately: "Fold. There will be better chances to get your money in.")

Re: AKo...facing all-in

He's not a shortstack (SB is 115 BB deep), but at these levels it's probably worth a (high-variance) call.

Re: extraction river plan.

I'd target his top pair hands for a call here. Since he seems loose, a push has a good chance of being called - it's only a moderate overbet of the pot.

It would have been easier to get it all...
