Re: $5 AJ thoughts ?
Yay preflop! I'm probably the only one that likes it though.
I like checking behind on the flop. Terrible board texture.
I'd just call the turn. I know their action is weak, but it's just an...

Re: LC: Folding Overpairs
er, yeah. if you're losing money at $3.40s and $6.50s, I'd bet my bankroll that your biggest leak is not folding overpairs too seldomly.

Re: 3/6 nl call off my stack here?
"I've no fe"
After the SB raises, I agree. But you almost surely have FE after the BB bets, and you have a load of actual equity against almost any range so that would be a fine time to raise and...

Re: Just wondering...
Annette,
My honest advice would be, F the haters and keep winning tournaments.
To expound on that, I think that pretty much any time you're successful at something, some people will tend to be...

Re: JJ in big
I'd raise pre.
I'd call this bet on the flop, folding to further action on the flop, check/folding the turn, and checking/reevaluating the river if the turn checks through (unless the pot is...

Re: 16s: Murphy is the best coach ever!
agree w/ durron regarding hand 3.
hand 2, isn't it really obvious CO has Qx or 44? His range is wider on the flop, but when he flat calls a turn raise, he might as well flip his hand face-up,...

Re: too looseskiziez!?
vers,
He can call wide enough such that Q8o is in his range and the shove still can be +EV. However this is of course assuming a tight SB and also assuming that Q8o is at the bottom of BB's...

Re: Opinion please: T9s
It's very hard to come up with a range for BB that makes this play -EV. At the worst, it will be VERY -EV, and even that will require a very specific calling range for BB that isn't necessarily good...

Re: Ace-king in Bubble (3rd in chips)
Icewizard,
You should really buy an ICM tool or learn how to do the equations by hand. This push is +EV no matter what range the BB calls with. If he calls 100% of the time, it's +.6%. If he...

Re: Talking poker outside 2p2
Ha. I usually just try to be vague. If they ask me about money I have no problem being vague, "I lost a little" or "I won a bit" or "I finished about even I think" usually appeases them.
The...
