Re: 14 card NL Omaha...does anyone fold?

This is not a troll, and yes, this is a real game. NL Home game, $500 buy in, $10 single blind.
It's the end of the day, and it being dealers choice, kidbundles decides to deal Omaha high only,...

60% vs 40% for a pair...confused?
I'm reading this new "poker for pigeons" book, and it claims that in 5 card draw, dealing clockwise, the odds of being dealt a pair are 40%....the odds of 5 consecutive cards, like holdem, are 60%.

Not spread in a casino, but in silly high stakes home game...
Should one only play for low, or what? Example: I have (3x-10x)Ax-Ax. Opponent has (xx) 6s 4s. I bet he raises.
No clue how to...

Wired set vs set?
Question: What are the percentages, heads up, to win, for (A-A) A vs. (5-5) 5... eight or better?
Also, what are the odds of getting a low (ie. four consecutive, non pairing low cards) when dealt...

Re: Lay down Aces full to all in bet on river?
I'll raise with a bunch of hands, but like most players in our game, they usually have AA, or A2 baby in them...sometimes you'll see all all high cards raise too = people aren't crazy with preflop...

Re: Lay down Aces full to all in bet on river?
forgive my ignorance, but what is "low content thread"...does that sorta mean my post is not relevant to most players? which i guess it isn't, as NL Omaha 7, five handed, healthy stakes, isn't...

Re: $575 all in on turn...do i call?
Agree with c/r on the flop...i think, with two hands to go, i was playing too defensive - didn't really want to go from up 500 to down 500 with one hand left...not good thinking, and frankly i should...

Re: AA377 vs AA24Q, 5 card omaha7...
Pushing all in never crossed my mind...at our game, unless you are short stacked (ie...under 400 or so, depending on time of session), 500 is a very serious bet - almost like an all in. I figured I...

Calling with a suited ace...
I play in a NL homegame, 5/10 blinds, 500 buy in. its a pretty tightish game...a couple wild players may buy in for 5k, but most for never more than 2k. most games are O8/HE/Pineapple etc.
