Re: How many Buyins is your HU SNG bankroll?
One thing that no one has discussed yet is the type of player you are. If losing a significant portion of your roll (10%) causes you to tilt heavily, than playing with 10 buyins is a horrible idea...

Re: How many Buyins is your HU SNG bankroll?
This is for people who just really enjoy gambling/moving up. I've turned around 20 bucks into over a thousand playing HUSNGs in a VERY short amount of time (like a day or two) numerous times, then...

Re: Bluffing unknown
Yeah..a bluff on the turn is alot more credible than a bluff on the river in general, but I think here the baluga theorem applies (he cant really call without a spade, and he probably doesn't have...

Re: QJo 3bet pot vs lag
[ QUOTE ]
Well 3-betting these guys isn't great because they usually call anyway. So you are OOP with a weak hand in an inflated pot. Also, the size sucks.

Re: Play a hand with me (NLTRN)
I love this min-raise discussion...its something important that I never really considered. If villain is calling too tightly anyway, there's no point to make it 3x with a marginal hand like K7o....

Re: Play a hand with me (NLTRN)
Good point about the draw to the nuts..but this flop is just too uncoordinated/misses way too many hand to not try to take this down with a c-bet. Go with the high percentage play.

Re: 100nl i stack off with A high?
Yeah its really close and really high variance...tough to say what the best play is. If you call and lose or get sucked out on..be careful not to go on mega-tilt against a player like this.

Re: kind of an awkward rivered top 2 pair
[ QUOTE ]
Betting is clearly best, either shove or bet like 1/2 pot and fold to a shove.
c/c is horrendous, he either has an ace or spades given the action, he checks behind everything we beat...

Re: $22 he shoved on me :(

You're getting 1510 : 870 on the call and so you need to win 870/(870+1510) or ~ 36.55% .
Play around with pokerstove and assign him some ranges and it should be clear that you should...

Re: 10/20 disgusting river spot
27o. As played, I'd probably fold river. Like someone said, we're chopping with some of his range, beating some, but losing to alot.

Re: linecheck 2/4nl deep with 2p
I'm in the "betting this river sucks" camp. A half-way decent player is folding his one-pair hand here. We aren't getting value from much of anything, and we open ourselves up to a check-raise.
