Re: Ever fold TPTK on the flop? Example inside.
With the CO before you, this is a good fold but what if the CO just called and didn't raise?
After all, Reverse implied odds applies when the pot is small, and this one is getting quite big.

Re: A big hand with a maniac and a TAG...
tilt, why do you think so?
I'm half persuaded that my turn play was spewage and I should have just called MP2's raise. If BB raised again, and MPs capped, i'd be pretty sure BB had AA-JJ and...

Re: A big hand with a maniac and a TAG...
Would you advocate a call on the Turn, or a fold? My issue with just calling was that if I called, BB could easily raise, even with OCs, and I'd be faced with calling 2 bets not knowing where I was. ...

Re: River play with AA in big pot...
lateflag.. indeed. I posted this beacuase i thought that there was a strong argument for raising the river. I feel that I tend to wuss out at the end of biggish pots, because my hand reading gets...

A big hand with a maniac and a TAG...
I'll be honest. By the Turn I was completely at sea. All comments appreciated.
MP2 is a 96/60 maniac over 60 hands. Preflop raise seems compulsory if no-one has raised before him. He's lost c30...

Well, I might well be being influenced by the results (in white).
<font color="white"> I called, Villain showed A4 clubs, which shows A) he's crazy. B) his starting hand range and calling...

Re: River play with AA in big pot...
So no-one thinks calling here is MUBS? Looking at it again. The only card I can see him beating me with is a 6, as he's not playing at all like KK or lower set...
The point that you are facing a...

River play with AA in big pot...
I'm 9 hands in to this table. No reads except after 9 hands, UTG+1 is 91/0 and MP1, after 40 hands, is 20/5 with a 0.3 AF postflop. As will become obvious, the table seems a little loose.
I think...

Re: QQ on the button
If this person s as passive as his stats suggest, I think you're looking at a set, straight or a boat >80% of the time here. Lot of hands fit his preflop call range (AQ, J10, JJ, A10, Q9, QT.
I...

Re: Weak TP?
For the flop C/Rs, don't you think the risk is that I'm giving 4 lots of over O/Cs a free draw?
If I'm c/o on a 5 way pot with AJ or somesuch, I'm going to be strongly tempted to take the free...

Weak TP?
I'm new at the table and have no reads. So assume normal 1/2 level play.

Re: top two in huge pre-flop capped pot
Grunch.
PF: If MP3 is as tight as you say, I'm out of here on the re-raise. This might be weak tight, but when a 3% player is reraised there's a good chance it's coming back capped. I fold after...

Re: c-bet this flop?
I bet here a high proportion of the time. Not always, but a lot.
Assuming a call, I also c-bet again on the turn if that bricks (a real brick here is a 2-4 or a 9, because its A8 we're frit of.) ...

Re: too big to back out?
Grunching. Absent any read on the table I'd fold preflop. On Flop I'd fold on that board, even with TP. A bet and a raise with lots of straight outs, lots of ways of counterfeiting. If I do decide...
