Re: KK vs short stack
This is almost never a bluff. Villain usually thinks he has the winning hand. I think this would have been a tougher call with AQ, but with K's I think you have to call.

Re: 50NL donk bet in 3-bet pot
[ QUOTE ]
I think monster is def. poss. However, if he had 88 or 77, I would think he would be cking to the pf raiser and then ck raise or float the flop. And if he does have over pair, why bet so...

I fold this also unless I have previously seen a villain do this with small pocket pairs.

Re: This is variance right?
Yes, this is variance. Flush over flush (three flush cards on the board)you are very often either going to win a stack or lose a stack.

Re: 50NL AK
[ QUOTE ]
In general I take the same line as you, calling the 3 bet when in position, shoving when oop. This looks standard to me.

Re: Value bet river, or just too much?
He has played this hand strangely and I'm not sure what he has, but I would check the river. Actually, after he's called bets on both the flop and the turn, I would have been concerned enough about...

Re: K high flush
You have the K J and it sure looks like he has a flush also, so I would just call the turn and not raise again. He doesn't know where the K J is, and the Q is on the board, so unless he's rasing...

Re: 25NL Interesting Hand
[ QUOTE ]
I think a check/call of his cbet is standard. You have a perfectly reasonable small pot hand, we're ahead of his range, and have a little draw on the side, he's cooperating in making it a...

Re: QQ gets flatcalled by semi thinking retard
I don't like the reraise on the flop to $10.13 at all. When you do this, you have to be ready to call an all-in shove and he is playing this hand a lot like he has a set. As played I would fold.

Re: 50NL: Like my stack a donk on drawy board?
If you 3bet this flop and he pushes. Do you think it would be a good call?

Against most players I would not call a push with TPTK. I would have to have seen evidence that he really...

Re: HH, Folded AA what did villian have?
I would also have reraised preflop after his raise, but if you just call, then I think you have to bet the flop. With a Q and J on the board I would make a pot size bet. You can't count on him...

Re: 2 pair vs aggression, 25nl
When he reraised to $8.50 on the turn, I think calling is the worst option. You have four outs to a full house so, on the river, you will hit only about one in twelve times.
I think you either...

Re: 25NL Top set, raise river?
I always bet this flop if there are two of the same suit on the flop. Also, I don't think you automatically get a fold if the villain doesn't have a K. You're in position, so your bet on the flop...

Re: Set of 7\'s
I agree with the posters who said that I should have raised all-in on the flop. After the hand was over, I was sure I had played the hand badly on the flop, but I wanted to see what others would...
