Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push
Just to the people defending OP because of the strategic perspective - gaining chiplead and advantage being able to gain EV next hands;
If the BB is a reg who's folding AK and he knows you're a reg,...

Re: Middle Pair, sensing weakness, Donk move?
^ What he said. Have at least top pair to lead out there. Check-fold top pair isn't horrible either but a tad bit weak. Don't commit a lot of chips in sn unraised pot early unless you flop two pair...

Re: $16 Stars: 10 10 pwning the bubble
Only time you should comtemplate doing folds like this, is if there's great reason to believe you can gain more in the next hands than making the call, this situation is way too marginal for that but...

Re: A-Q bubble play
The repush is good if you think he's folding his KJo or 33 whatever, you get the idea. Don't let situations like this become the same as 'calling all in' meaning reshoving without FE. I see a ton of...

Re: AQo on the bubble
Why is it -ev to call ?
I'll make a thorough explaination here since I've not posted much on the forum aswell and you guys seem interested in understanding ICM. This is probably done in other...

Re: AQo on the bubble
-3% ev is about as bad as it gets normally /images/graemlins/smile.gif
You can't call here. You need a pair. How big depends on your read. AK is a fold. Readless you have to fold unless you...

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push
Yes exactly, if everybody plays equilibrium this hand and a ton of other junk hands become instashoves.
Our equilibrium here doesn't however. If everybody plays perfect, like will be close in the...

Re: 16: I thought this was a fairly standard push
Reckless shove. TBH I might even spitecall you here with AQ if you're a regular for the reasons above and because you're not supposed to be running the show here.
"This is +EV all the way down to...

Re: $16: What the F is this?
It means that if we lead, we fold to a raise and check-fold to a big bet on the turn instead of checking and being faced with a potsize bet or bigger from possibly an inferior hand.

Re: $12t - Standard Crappy Overpair
Heh. This is a tough but common scenario. We limped to flop a set which we didn't. Gotta have a read here to dictate action. The player isn't on a complete bluff. His range is likely top pair, two...

Re: $16: What the F is this?
I really think top pair should be lead in unraised pots unless there's more than 5 players total or you have no kicker or further potential at all. Really wanna check-call unable to control pot size...

Re: 1-table S&Gs - your feedback requested
I think that the 150/300+25(30?) would be a good idea. I also think increase the ante on 200/400..hmm..perhaps to 40 ? Then 300/600+60. No ante increase from 100/200 doesn't make sense.
One thing...

Re: dont feel comf. with this sit. (15+1)
Yeah, sort of I can agree. I just feel that this is one of those situations where it might be OK to give up a +ev push, let's face it they are calling pretty wide on avg there and we're not in the...

Re: dont feel comf. with this sit. (15+1)
You don't have to go here. Winning this pot doesn't change the table setup, or your stack, enough to capitalize on it (yet).
Table dependant. Shove and fold can both be justified. I prefer fold on...

Re: Variance: SNG\'S will make you puke!
-25 buyins on $55 on party in a day is my worst run, there are good and bad days for sng players. At lower limit I really haven't experienced much swings, seldom more than 8 otm in a row. I play $16...
