Re: Checking it down
Definately not kosher. I'd be tempted to rule that the BB is out of the hand. But I'm sure that ain't kosher either.

I'm trying to track down what sort of poker hand a "four card bob" is. I
know that it doesn't beat a royal flush, but is it a strong hand...

Re: Home game ruling - was this guy a douche?
In my home game, if a player at showdown mucks his hand (meaning that the cards are thrown into the muck face down so nobody sees them), I do not require the other player to show a hand to be awarded...

Eating At the Table -- Yes or No?
I don't allow it when I host. People had been showing up with burritos, pizza, sausage subs, and eating them at the table while playing cards. No more. I also don't allow eating at the table of...

The question is not about to whom to award the pot, but whether the person still in must show his or her hole cards for the dealer to award that person the pot. For instance, if the player shows his...

Ruling Please . . . Is the Hand Dead?
Two players all in. Both players misread the hands and the pot is awarded to the player with the worst hand. The player with the best hand (who called the all-in) concedes defeat, leaves the table,...

Re: Heads Up Tourney Question
So in the structure that I've described, the double-elimination must refer not to a single game but to a "match," however many games comprise a match.

19/29= 6.02 points
29/29= 4..01 points
5/29= 20 points
1/29= 60 points
But, it also calculates that $150+5 is 12 points for 29th/29, while $150+15 = 6.95 points?
