Re: $5+0.50 Extracting Value with the Nuts

Start building the pot on the flop. Tons of hand are going to call you there.

Re: $5+0.50 JJ from the BB

I like raising preflop here.

As played, your line is good. What do you do when they bet rhe flop ?

Re: AQo on the bubble

Q : calling is so bad here.

OP : also you can play with SB / BB calling ranges. If you set them to 0 or close, I suppose the call become a little better.

Re: A-Q bubble play

This is ok against most button.

He should fold almost everything here. The problem is that often he does not know it at the 6.5 and folding is better.

Re: $5+0.50 Playing AJs Aggressively (Too Aggressively?)

Yes, fold preflop, you're burning money.

As played, call the flop.

Re: in the $ vs. out of the $

38-42% is standard for winning players on 9 handed table, me think.

But I don't remember where I get that so it could be wrong.

Re: $22, 77 UTG in tough spot

cutof for me.

I would not push 66 and even 77 might be bad with 7 player behind

Re: HU Blinds are 250/500 ($5)

I like both.

I only fold 1st if I saw him call previous pushes with Q6 / J8 of something like that.

Re: [$22] FD + Gutshot CRAI?

You're getting super good odds for drawing by just calling the flop (5.5:1). So I do that.

Re: $22: 66 OTB, bubble hand

I mainly raise t375 here but a specific read on BB could make me fold or even limp.

Re: $12t - Standard Crappy Overpair

I call and see a turn. We are against a random 5 or 6 a lot, imo.

Re: [$22] AQs PF after Limpers

I like the raise preflop but I check behind on the flop more and more now and like it a lot.

Re: ($24) Q9 as TP from BB minraised by BTN

I like it. Betting for protection is good v 2 opponent but your hand can not handle any pressure.

Re: [5.50] AK w/ top pair on 3 flush board

Whaaaaaaaat ?

Preflop is ok, bet more on the flop (300ish).

As played, call the turn getting 4:1 . 77-JJ are part of his range for sure.

(also why does the converter say one is all-in ?)

Re: ($24) AQs in BB with 10bb vs. CO raise

If 11/7 is over a significant sample, it looks like a bad push to me.
Basically, you prey and hope he has AJs or KQs, that's all.

I fold.

Re: ($27) 88 makes a straight on the turn

I'd hate to be raised on the river so I probably just check it.

Re: Using ICM while playing

Some ppl definitly do it during games in some tough bubble spots.

Also some use real time ICM calculation (and I'd guess there is more and more of them)

Re: BB AQo Decisions...2.25 FTP

Same as the other hand here. Calling is too expensive for your stack. I'd call a 150 BB.

A read on vilain would help for your decision, definitly.

Re: BB AQs decisions 2.25 FTP

Do not call preflop, it's too expensive for you (15% + of your stack) so you should either shove or fold.

I prefer a fold in the vacuum.
