Re: Hand question -- right raise?
I agree with Pants. However, your reply to him is a bit confusing. My takeaway from Pant's advice is that I might change-up my behavior by raising even more -- maybe an even $100. They might think...

Re: Hand reading question
IMO, most people are 'predictable'. Tight players are maybe MORE predictable than loose, but even if you correctly think someone is loose, you have indeed predicted how they will play to some extent...

Re: Hand reading question
That assumes that your opponents are consistant. If they are tight, how they play a pocket pair is likely more predictable than if a loose player has pocket's. You may see the same play from a loose...

Re: Percentages of Common Situations In NL
OK, I just realozed I misread your post. Sorry. I was answering your percentage of winning the hand, not hitting your flush/straight, etc.
There are tons of charts out there. Google the following...

Re: Percentages of Common Situations In NL
Unless someone took a huge sampling of actual hands and did all the number crunching, what you are asking is impossible. However, if you know, or assume you know the opponent's pocket cards, it can...

Re: I fold a flush
If I had bet $20 on the rive, I would have to be committed to my cards (or I'd have checked). I call the $54.

Re: ATs made a move
I fold. That said, I think a pre-flop raise would have been more valuable than the flop raise.

Re: I fold a set
His call of the $12 would have been very loose if he was only on a flush draw. The poster said he was a fairly tight player (I think). Therefore, I don't put him on a flush.

Re: I fold a set
BB all of a sudden likes his hand after the flop. Probably not drawing to a straight. Thus, he is likely doing one of 3 things: 1. bluffing, 2. drawing to a spade flush, 3. has top pair (10's). To...
