Re: The PokerStars world passport (challange)
Yeah I posted this in the other thread. The 101-200 freeroll is worth like $250, 250-500 like $85ish and 501-1k worth $50ish. Not worth changing your play at all for anything but top 100.

Don't participate in the promotion then. If you make top 100 just sit out when they do the freeroll.

Um what point of my post did you not get? Top 100 certainly has...

Any suggestions for good room rates this winter?
I'd like to stay at a semi decent place, pretty much one of the major hotels with a casino, for about a week during this winter break. I've searched for some poker room rates but most seem outdated,...

Re: .5/1 on pokerstars video
I'd like to preface that you're a much better player than me, but might as well point out what I think to be mistakes so far I've watched. Only watched like 20 minutes so far.
I think in one hand...

On a completely different note, with the declining dollar, seems like the best value is now the 250 Pound Amazon certificates for 31k fpp. At 2.091 exchange rate its worth about 0.0168. The more the...

Re: Is anyone here more of a nit than this?
I think there are a lot of people in your situation. NL 100 approaches $80/hr for me and NL200 is slightly more, and I'm content enough to grind it out until I get a real job. Same bankroll situation.

Re: Beats: This is when you know you are cursed
You "knew" at least one of them had an ace while they didn't. Since you were wrong you deserved to lose. Poker is a game of incomplete information, if you can't figure out their holding you deserve...

Re: Poker Stars Instant EChecks
Though I like the pre-credit thing, seems like it'll screw over both the site and a lot of degen players using this option. I think they should verify you have the money before crediting your...
