Re: Yet another NYC raid
TT, most of the clubs have business cards, some have had websites. What then is the big deal about saying a club name or giving details about them in the forums? Not being a jerk, genuinely curious.

Re: Russian Poker?
From what I understand there are a bunch of restaurants in Moscow that host tournaments, look for signs on the door. Not sure about actual casinos or rooms.

info: \"Salami\" card room robbed
It was closed yesterday, is reopening today with a new camera/buzzer system. I am unaffiliated with the room, just passing along information.

When is a muck a muck?
I'm in the top 3 of a tournament at the Atlantic City Hilton with a Greek guy and another guy who is older than dirt. Here's what happened:
In the Greek guy's last hand, he completed his small...

Re: Atlantic City for someone who has never been
Holiday Inn Express is great as it has a 2pm late checkout. I like the Harrahs.com site as you can search all the Harrahs properties. Also, I recently stayed at Fairfield Resorts (a time-share...

Re: Dinner in Atlantic City
I love Cuba Libre (though no shorts after a certain hour) and Red Square (which might be more expensive than you want). Both are in the Trop.

Re: Atlantic City this weekend (June 2nd-4th)
I'm going to be at the Hilton with three of my girlfriends Sat-Sun....but we'll mostly be playing 1/2NL, 2/5NL if we're feeling particularly crazy.

Re: Softest games in Atlantic City?
Showboat is $300 for 1/2 NL.
I would try places not known for their poker. Avoid Borgata and Taj and you should be ok.

Re: Hilton Atlantic City
It's a really nice room and they seem to be adding games all the time. They had a 2/5 NL game this past weekend, along with the usual 1/2NL and 2/4, 3/6 limit games.

Re: Hotels Near AC
We just stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Atlantic City west and it was great. A better than average motel, 10 minutes from the strip and the best part- 2pm late check out!

Re: A heads up to all NYC players
Well, this particular club closes at the first sign of any danger so the fact that they're still open means they're not too worried about it. Do we know if the cops were let in? I know that this...

Re: A heads up to all NYC players
I hear it was drugs related, someone was smoking pot in the stairwell, supposedly not even connected to the club.

Re: Cruise ship poker trip report
I got killed in Cruise Ship 4/8 poker. Just way too loose a game. Pocket aces didn't make it through even once during the whole week. At one point, a woman called me down to the river with 93o...
