Re: i\'m a huge calling station
I'll cap the preflop(edit) - especially because I want to punish BB for limping along with probably trash.
Then i'll bet the flop because there could be a ton of draws outthere. Button could have...

Re: 2 pair river call?
Could we just check-call this river. The 3 is a horrible card for us because now we are counterfeited with all higher pocketpairs and all Ax. They are very likely hands in his prefloprange. But if...

Re: Optimum bluffing frequency question
This talk about bluffingtheory in TOP is not supposed to be some kind of DIRECT tool, but more an INdirect tool to helps one mind how often to bluff in marginal situations. This is game theory and it...

Don't know how well I like your turn 3bet, because your are actually checkraised and not being simply raised. It would be a wierd way to semibluff this one and we can only hope that he is on a...

I don't know about turnbet unless villain 3bets a lot preflop with low pockets or he has a low went to showdown percentage. You only beat something like A8 or AJ and split with AK.
Bet the...

Re: calling a cap preflop
As I see it KJo is hand that will win a little money in a capped pot and has the potential to loose a lot. It has reverse implied odds in this spot and I don't think it is a mistake to fold. It is...

Re: 2/4 - middle pair
U have middlepair decent kicker and it costs u at most 2BB to call to showdown to win 6 (or if river goes c/c u get 1:5). That is u just have to be good one third of the time. I don't know your...

Re: 10/20 Party Button. Wrong on Most Streets?
I think you can normally fold the flop. If you play I would raise the flop and bet for a freeshowdown on the turn, but it is a high risk play and we may already be behind and villain will have a ton...

It really is an easy check. You will most certainly be against a least a pair or a gutshotdraw which all have odds to call. So it'll be a clear mistake to sweeten the pot when you actually will be...

Interesting with Ax I think. Well, if we resteal we should 3bet the flop and bet the turn if we are not resisted. If he still hangs around we are beat. How often we should do this depends a lot on...

Re: loose peels in blind steal
Case 1. No peel. We have bad potodds, are probably behind and we could be drawing almost dead against overpairs(unlikely though as BB would have reraise preflop). Even if we hit how will we play it...

Play solid starting hands when the blinds are low and valuebet TPTK. Be careful with anything less and don't throw your chips away with these weaker holdings. Just foldem in multiway pots.
In the...

The problem if we do not bet is that we will easily get bluffed out...

If it's HU on the turn and you know he will bet 100% when checked to you have an easy checkraise - you will be in front here most of the time.

Why do we bet the turn when we cannot fold to a checkraise?? The turnbet makes us vulnerable to make mistakes and against an unknown this should be first priority. I'd check the turn and call a...

On the flop u could bet and he will fold...
