Re: river decision after passive flop/turn
If you think so, then raise the turn. His bet is probably induced by your weakness so get him of his hand. In case he re-raises you, you can fold safely. This line is way too passive for a...

Re: NL25: Ah, the old limp/reraise...
At least from UTG (+1) it is. Caught 2 guys going that just yesterday. EP limp/reraise equals AA/KK craving for some more action.

Re: 100NL, Top 2 Pair, safe to value bet river?
I'd bet 1/2 pot here. He might have a weaker ace or two pair and I really dont think he has flopped a flush since even the biggest donkeys would raise that at some point.
His limp/call preflop...

Re: NL25: Ah, the old limp/reraise...

Re: river decision after passive flop/turn
I'd c-bet this flop everyday. You have position, caught a piece of the flop in case he is floating with a pocket pair. If he shows strenght on either flop/turn I shut down.
As played I'd fold the...

Re: how to play AK in SB
[ QUOTE ]
This is an instant 3bet OOP. And because he only minraised, it is not even going to have to be a huge 3bet, so there will be some post-flop room to manouvre, plus we can deny him correct...

Re: bankroll management question for NL holdem
Variance does not reduce with adding tables though if that's what you are implying. Variance reduces with the no. of hands played which of course has got something to do with multitabling.
Just to...

Re: Rethinking big draws - Part 1
Against a set we are about a 1.5:1 dog so that is not too bad I guess. Especially when there is dead money in the pot you can make this +EV considering you are not against a set *all* the time.

Re: Call this?
I am really unsure. A flush and a straight could have been made on the river card. He could have 56 thinking he could take down the pot on the flop. He could have a pocket pair such as 44 and he is...

He might be on a spade draw. He raises the flop because in the multiway pot he likes to have more money in the pot since he gains the most equity from it. He bets the turn because you are weak...

Re: 71 hands...4.5 bb
71 hands doesn't reflect any meaningful statistic at all. Come back when you have 10k hands at least before you can say anything about any stat.

Re: 10NL FR AA faces turn bet
Above hand is almost identical till the turn. Instead of checking I lead the turn and he reraises and shows down a turned set on the river.
