Re: QQ, standart play against this player ??
Ok, thank you.
I have think a lot about this hand. I think I should have 4bet pre to 16 and fold to a shove or a minraise.
But I wanted to slowplay qq against this agressive player and make...

QQ, standart play against this player ??
Villain is very lag preflop : 40/50 !! over only 45 hands. But i don't see him make silly things postflop.
It's the second time he minreraises me preflop in the session.
SB: $49.50
BB: $24.95...

Re: Top pair good kicker IP face a 3 barrel
It's 6 max.
Villain is a straigforward player, so I just call the flop to see what he does on the turn.
He has JQ, so :
- if I raise the flop, I don't give him a free card to beat me, but if...

Top pair good kicker IP face a 3 barrel
Villain is 20/19 over 100 hands and seems to be a good player. He hadn't make crazy bluff during the session.
Three orbits ago, i call a raise IP with QK and catch my top pair on the flop. He bets...

Re: NL25 - OMG, what am I doing? =/
I agree with Kroeliewoelie.
A passive player raises you huge and your hand can easily be dominated (AT, sets, ...).
Do you expect the two villains to have flush draw ??

Re: flopped good boat faces odd river raise
Well, you have to ask yourself how to make money in this hand :
- if Villain has a overpair, you bet the flop, he raises, you pushes, he calls ;
- if villain has nothing, you could extract from...

Re: Somthing wrong with my game?
I have the same probleme.
You have to learn how to handle with variance. Quite difficult the first time.
A good advice is to estimate your EV in the big pot you play. If you have a positive EV,...

ICM : How to use it ???
Hi,
I read some post about "ICM". I understand that "chip equity" is not "$ equity" (I try to avoid to take a coin flip in the bubble).
But, i don't understand how to use this model in a SNG....

- big fish
So, it's great if you want to learn how to adapt to your opponents.

BB/100 uNL ?
Hi,
I'm playing NL25 and NL50. My winrate is nearly 5 BB/100hands.
Before moving up to NL100 (my bankroll is ok for that) , I want to play "optimal poker" at this micro limit.
What is...

Re: How often to c-bet
I agree with mdvgaag.
I mostly play 20 NL, and sometimes the table is full of tight player who fold too much after the flop.
I noticed than C-betting often take the pot.
So, on this table, I...

Re: NL25 JJ gets limp-reraised - Flop Action?
Each time I make this limp-reraise UTG, I have AA or KK or AK.
Sometimes I try to steal the pot from an aggro who raises too much.
But I really think he has an overpair.
Fold on the flop.

Re: online play: sng vs ring
As far as i'm concerned :
- $0.10/$0.25 NL -> $10 or $20 SnG
- $0.25/$0.50 NL -> $20 or $50SnG
But I first learn to play SnG and MTT, so I'm probably more confortable playing tourney than cash...
