Re: Sleeping at work
A move a co-worker of mine used to do is just to drive to a nearby park or otherwise large parking lot and then take a nap in the car.

Re: Pushing Daisies
I thought there was a lot of interaction between Chuck and Ned in this episode. Basically that they both want something - and they both realize the other knows it as well.
It should be...

Re: Scrubs 11/15
The Shirley-thing seems really weird in that no one will acknowledge her looking exactly like Laverne.
Todd was okay in this episode - "why is everyone wearing such big underwear".
I actually...

I think I'm weird because the two parts I laughed the most at were when Pam was leaving the bathroom as Kelly is coming in ("that's what I thought") and Toby saying "could you make it...

Re: Pushing Daisies
Still enjoy the show.
From the first scene, I actually thought they could start touching.
Will still watch the show just for the snappy dialogue, to see at the very least how they'll end this...

I wholeheartedly agree with these posts. I happen to like So Jealous most of all - I can put that and If It Was You on and not have to skip a track.

Re: Great film
Thanks for the explanation. From what I remember in the movie, it almost looked like Anton was scared or nervous waiting in the room.
I certainly didn't expect him to leave, once he's had his gun...

Great film
I agree with the other posters about the intelligence of these characters. Not necessarily book smart, but very very resourceful.
I loved the dialogue, and the suspense didn't let up for the...

I liked Ted's outburst in the cafeteria.
Did the show just decide to forget about Turk and Carla's kid?

I liked when he was started to get up when the mom said that "all the gold" was buried in her son's place, only to sit back down when it was actually a horse.
Fun subtle detail.

Re: Albums that needed a few listens
I enjoyed Soviet Kitsch the first time through just for how it sounds. I enjoyed it more on further listens because I could pay attention to the lyrics more. I get something new each time.

Re: Pushing Daisies
Is it still because of Chi McBride?
Sometimes it can feel smarmy. And I don't think any character feels "warm". Olive last night seems to have come the closest, I think.

Re: Pushing Daisies
This was the first episode of it that I caught. It's very funny, but I hope it gets a full run or at the very least, a full season.
Chi McBride is great and the girls so far are likable.

Re: A question I have pondered for 10 years....
Here it is:
The most common scripted line in all Hollywood productions (it was used at least once 84% of the time) from the late 30s to the mid 70s, was:
"Let's get outta here!"
