villain is a competent player, so what range of hands can we put him on that get to the river on this board?
he can have 7x, 5x, some 9x, small PPs, turned overcard+straight draw,...

that he c/c a 7 or 9 on the flop and then decided to bet the river?
I don't know his play looks fishy to me and I think I look him up. I guess folding is best but I'm a SD monkey and I don't like...

Re: bet this river !?
against this villain I b/f (although I'm tempted to b/c) because when LAGs taking passive postflop lines it usually is with weak SDable hands and not draws, so you can v-bet against a ton of low pkts...

Right, i'm not expecting them to fold it, but there is a very finite chance they will. B/f'ing merely: a) prevents us from having to overcall the river (which is my only real problem with...

Re: i\'m a huge calling station
capping pf is good, although I certainly don't think there is anything too wrong with just calling. You probably only have a slight equity edge 3-way, and I don't think you are giving up too much by...

Re: BB vs. Limped SB **POLL**
if you have zero postflop fold equity against villain when they have Q-high plus then you should just check behind with playable hands that have no SD value.

Re: BB vs. Limped SB **POLL**
raise playable hands, hands with SD value, and obviously anything that you would steal with. The only think I check behind is absolute crap.

Re: when to let up with a set?
oh yeah I didn't think to comment on it in my first post, but pfr is bad, and donk bet on the flop really isn't necessary. pf 3-bettor is going to bet 100% of his range, and you want to c/r so you...

Re: when to let up with a set?
I think the turn 3-bet is fine since UTG is unlikely to have KK or QQ based on his pf limp and call of the pf 3-bet.
I like the b/c on the river, because BB hand looks like AA or AK that is just...

river is close. depends on how SD bound/ aggressive button and SB are. but I think you can make a really solid argument for c/r'ing. If the button bets the SB is likely to call any pair or possibly...

Re: missed AK against Donk in multiway
easy peel bd flush draw and overs. he is either donking with a flush draw and you likely have the best hand, or he is donking with a pair and you have about 7 outs on average.

I call here because I dont like folding, but unless you have a reason to think he gets out of line in the BB I think you can fold getting 9-1.

Re: QQ 1/2
yeah not really much reason to cap since its sets you up for a turn c/r on the turn. I think calling down from the 3-bet is fine, and bet if checked to. If he has an 8 we don't want him to get out...
