Re: NL200 - AQ IP
I hate this spot on the turn. I think you have to fold.
Mostly, I try to sear the memory of this uncomfortable feeling into my brain so that I don't call preflop 3-bets with easily dominated...

Re: NL200 - Did Overplay TT??
[ QUOTE ]
If you're going to c/r here you are pretty much turning your hand into a bluff.
[/ QUOTE ]
Why does a c/r turn your hand into a bluff? Villain could be c-betting with overcards...

Re: NL200 - Did Overplay TT??
Why the min check-raise on the flop? It doesn't help define the Villain's hand. It isn't big enough to fold overcards. It just makes the pot bigger when we're OOP with a vulnerable made hand.
I...

Re: 200NL double gutter
I think you've got the Villain crushed here, so I like a check on the turn. Not to go for the check-raise, since I think he will almost always check behind on this scary board, but to pick up a call...

Re: 200nl 6 max - My First Strategy Post
The pot's gotten pretty big compared to your remaining stack, so I think it's just a question of how you want to get the rest of your money in.
I think you have a number of good options here,...

Re: 2 hands vs. super LAG/Maniac
Hand 1:
I think the Villain is pretty much committed here (he's getting better than 2:1 to call a flop push), so I see no reason to wait until the turn. You're solidly ahead of his range--push...

Re: FT-NL100 6MAX----Put him on a set or two pair
Sorry about the delay. I just saw your post now.
Yes, it's an easy call if the SB pushes over our $35 raise. Pot would be about $180 and it would cost us about $100 to call. Easy call at 1.8:1...

Re: 1/2NL, Do you fold QQ here?
I agree with raising more preflop.
I also check-raise all-in on the turn. I can easily see the CO with 88-JJ here. He open-limped preflop, and didn't 3-bet your preflop raise, so he's less...

Re: Top 2 facing action on flop
(You should delete all the action after your decision on the flop. In reading this, I know that a flop push from you has no FE (since UTG called), but you didn't know that when you pushed.)
UTG's...

Re: FT-NL100 6MAX----Put him on a set or two pair
When the betting got back to the SB, there was $41 in the pot and he had $132 in his stack. A push is too much of an overbet. A PSR is $80, while $65 would be enough to put the CO all-in. I'd bet...

Re: 1/2NL, Would you bet that turn?
One other point: If the Villain had a draw, he would be making a correct decision (getting sufficient odds) to call your turn bet, since he would have 2 overcards to your pair, as well as a straight...

Re: 1/2NL, Would you bet that turn?
Your river decision is already simple. Check behind on turn. If he bets the river, fold.
Like delta_k said, Villain may be loose, but if his PFR% is 0, then he's also really passive, so I'm not...

Re: FT-NL100 6MAX----Put him on a set or two pair
Your min-raise on the flop makes it a closer decision than it should be.
When the action gets back to you on the flop, there's $90 in the pot, and it costs you $120 to put SB all-in. So, you're...

Re: QQ Turn Action against TAG
Do you think a TAG is going to call a big bet on the turn and another on the river with 77-JJ? I think he'll fold a lot more often than pay us off twice. So, I don't think we lose a lot of value if...

Re: QQ Turn Action against TAG
I like the check behind on turn. Keep the pot small and get to showdown. Give your opponent a chance to bluff on the river.
If an A or K falls on the river and opponent bets pot...well, I'm not...
